Having lost my wings, I could never ascend to the sky again.

Additionally, my yellow eyes that used to be surrounded by a greenish hue turned intensely red.

Afterwards, as my consciousness started to blur, I felt more hope than sorrow. Thinking of how to shape the future after this death, my heart strangely felt lighter, and in the last moments, I closed my eyes in peace.

A distant past.

When my faith in Father was strong, I arrived at the sanctuary beyond the sky as usual when called.

“Father, did you call me?”

“Yes.”

I carefully folded my wings, bowed my head in reverence as I knelt on one knee, and Father told me to rise.

“You will have to visit Paradise on my behalf.”

“Do you mean the place where you planted the World Tree?”

I slightly tilted my head.

“Yes. I recently made a friend for the World Tree.”

Was it my imagination that his tone became gentler? Father summoned a small box from his bosom with a slightly excited voice.

“Take this to that child. I forgot to make the world that child desires.”

A lavish box floating above Father’s enormous hand.

“Tell them that what is inside this box will never change, so to keep it carefully.”

“Yes.”

I received the box that naturally floated towards me while staring at Father, who had already leaned back.

‘I have to deliver this quickly and go eat corn.’

I moved right away. Paradise was not far from the sanctuary, so I arrived quickly and flew a wide circle around Paradise’s airspace, searching for the being Father mentioned.

‘They are right there.’

Then I spotted a human with purple hair playing with a young dragon in a field mixed with white and yellow flowers.

“Come here!”

“Rrr!”

As they were playing near the World Tree, I didn’t need to confirm. I descended immediately, convinced that she was the first human.

Whoosh.

“Hello, Paradise.”
Claiming to be a friend of the World Tree without even a proper name was a stretch. Thus, the woman who left the deepest impression of grandeur and beauty called this place ‘Paradise.’

“Hmm? What brings the envoy of God here? Sent to nag on God’s behalf again?”

“No, that’s not it.”

The man with violet hair, who seemed to have had encounters with other angels before, did not find me unfamiliar.

“I have brought something from my Father to deliver to you.”

Why did he sigh? I found it puzzling, but I smiled outwardly.

For the first time, I looked closely into the eyes of the man who claimed to be a friend of the World Tree.

Whether it was due to my nature of being more honest with emotions and having strong curiosity than other angels, or I was drawn in unknowingly, I kept staring into his mysterious violet eyes.

“Gwrr, gwuuu!”

“I’m in a conversation right now. I’ll play with you later.”

It was only when a baby dragon suddenly started to cry and leap that I snapped back to reality.

“So this is the dragon you tamed recently?”

“Yes, I’ve been nursing it back to health.”

Being taught to be kind to young beings, I smiled softly. I attempted to stroke it as a sign of familiarity, but it bit my finger out of fear.

“My goodness! What will you do if you bite!”

Paradise, the beautiful woman, admonished the young dragon saying, “Jiji, jiji,” and seemed frightened. She looked a bit awkward, unsure of what to do at the sight of the dripping blood.

“I am fine.”

“But your blood is flowing profusely. Follow me for treatment.”

The human of the primordial age scolded the baby dragon and then led me to her residence to heal the wound.

Given that wounds heal naturally over time, the human of the primordial age seemed to have only received gifts from angels without building any closeness.

“Wounds from a dragon bite won’t heal with regular ointment. But there’s no problem as long as I have the stardust made for me by God.”

The baby dragon, sulking, flew in circles before landing on a large cushion. I admired the light emitted by the powder that Paradise sprinkled on the wound.

“Indeed, the effect is immediate.”

“Right, so where’s the thing you said you’d give me?”

Recalling my Father’s request, I quickly produced the gift.

“Here it is. Please take it.”

I did not forget to convey the accompanying instructions.

“My Father says that what’s inside this box is everlasting, so handle it with care.”

“A special box, huh?”

Thrilled, the friend of the World Tree scrutinized the box from every angle.

“So, aren’t you leaving?”

Paradise, who had been heading towards the sofa, sat down cross-legged and started playing with the baby dragon that had flown to her. She looked up at me as if to say, why are you still in my house when your task is done?

“I, I was just about to leave.”

At that moment, I felt awkward for the first time, thanked her for the healing, and quickly stepped outside.

Afterwards, as the twelfth envoy, I visited Paradise several more times on behalf of my Father.

“My Father sends this.”

“Oh, okay.”

In the process, we became closer and I learned how to get along with the young dragon.

I also discovered my extraordinary talent in cooking while mingling with the humans and dragons in Paradise. It was merely a means to pass the time, but it bore unexpected results.

In any case, finding it not too bad and interesting, I utilized my exceptional homemaking skills whenever I visited Paradise.
The glimmering marble couldn’t bring me much joy.

“Corn you work like an ox for and then eat is truly the best.”

On days when cooking and cleaning became tiresome, I went to the field to harvest crops. Eating boiled corn while hiding between reeds was also quite enjoyable.

Engaging in various activities and fulfilling the tasks my father assigned left me perpetually tired.

However, the change that occurred in my monotonous routine was quite agreeable, so I had no complaints.

Sometimes, when Paradise treated me not as its twelfth representative but as an excellent housekeeper, the feeling was strange, but that too soon sank into oblivion as if it didn’t matter.

“Demons have invaded Paradise!”

However, one day, it happened when I returned to Paradise after having been away for a while on other tasks.

I immediately rushed over when I saw the friend of the World Tree surrounded by demons in black robes with small wings, at the usual meeting place.

Sweat.

At that moment, my heart felt like it was dropping at the thought that something major had happened to a being my father cherished.

“Why are there demons here?”

I asked frantically, and Paradise seemed at a loss for what to do. I looked forward again and thought.

‘Even if Paradise is located at the midpoint between heaven and the underworld, these guys shouldn’t have been able to invade this easily.’

After a while of being quiet, the demons started to rise again, making me wonder if someone had found a weak point in the defenses and opened the gate.

“If you don’t want your horns cut off, it would be best for you to leave peacefully.”

After making sure the friend of the World Tree was not injured, I extended my sharp spear toward the demon as a threat.

“Hey, wait! You’re going to fight them?”

“Yes, is there a problem?”

Meanwhile, the original humans, who numbered only a few, stared at me strangely as I stood alone against the demons, then broke into a cold sweat.

“These guys just wanted to be friends with me. They’re guests I invited!”

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
