I don’t remember how I fell asleep last night. I wasn’t drunk, but my memory was foggy.

“Teddy… Teddy…”

When I woke up, I was inside the tent, feeling incredibly heavy.

I never felt this bad since awakening as a hunter.

Murmuring and barely managing to call Teddy, the tent zipper opened with a zip.

“Owner, you’re awake?”

“Why am I asleep here?”

“You kept dozing off outside, so I moved you.”

I did? I had no recollection.

Last night’s BBQ party went on all night, and the hunters’ energy seemed boundless.

They waved and shot the fireproof fireworks we bought from the camping market all day long.

Unlike them, I couldn’t stay up past 3 AM no matter how hard I tried.

Seems like I fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.

“What about the guests?”

“They left early in the morning.”

“They were going to wake you but decided against it. Said they had a great time and would definitely come back.”

“I didn’t even get to say goodbye…”

“Don’t worry, Owner. I took care of everything in the morning!”

That was a relief. Without Teddy, this campground would have surely failed.

“I think I’ve caught a cold. Ugh.”

Even in the tent with recovery buffs, I felt slow to recover.

“Do we have a lot to clean up today?”

“No, Owner, you can rest. I’ve almost finished everything!”

“The hunters helped a lot.”

“Hunters?”

I thought all the guests had left.

As I pondered, a man appeared, holding a box of plastic and a trash bag.

Persuaded by his continuous dissuasion, I returned to the tent. Through the urethane window, I watched restlessly as he surveyed the campground.

The tent was left open for ventilation. The campfire area was tidy, and the trash was gathered in one place, seemingly ready to be disposed of.

As Teddy said, almost everything was indeed already taken care of.

‘Alright, I’ll just rest today. Going out now would only cause worry.’

I wriggled back into my sleeping bag. The warm sunlight poured down on me.
