“Yes, go ahead.”

Normally, you’d need to rent a tent to stay on the campsite grounds, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to let them just take a quick look—especially since they clearly weren’t ordinary guests.

Their crisp formal attire, straight posture, squared shoulders, and sharp eyes scanning the campsite all signaled something unusual.

Though they claimed they’d only “take a quick look,” they ended up renting a tent, testing the three-second sleeping bag, and even lying down in the hammock meant for expecting mothers.

They also warmed themselves by the campfire. Their behavior seemed less like sightseeing and more like rapidly experiencing and evaluating everything.

“Master… who are those guests?”

“I’m not sure. Let’s just keep an eye on them for now.”

The monsters and I watched them from a distance. One man, perhaps having triggered a campsite quest, took firewood stacked behind the tent and placed it into the fire pit.

After murmuring among themselves for a while, the short-haired woman approached me again.

“Miss Yubom, may I speak with you privately for a moment?”

“Yes…? Uh, sure…”

I led her to the rooftop beside the convenience store where I’d spoken with Gayoung earlier. I’d hastily bought a wooden table from the store and set it up.

Since I didn’t yet have proper drinks or coffee ready for guests, I brought out a glass of milk.

She savored even the milk as if appraising it before finally speaking.
