I declared with unwavering determination, and Hunter Joo Cheong-yeon smiled at me warmly.

“That’s right. Exactly.”

His return made me feel inwardly at ease. Had I been relying on Hunter Joo Cheong-yeon more than I realized?

It shouldn’t have surprised me—he’d helped me so much already—but now that I recognized it, I felt ashamed for unconsciously depending on someone else again, yet also relieved that at least I had one person with whom I could share everything openly.
