“Uh~ Woojoo, can’t you ride an airplane?”
Facing big teary eyes, Seolwon felt her breath catch.
The small hand she was holding tightly, not wanting to let go, looked even more fragile today.
In place of her, whose heart was rapidly weakening, Chaeha bent down, sat, and met the child’s gaze.
“Our son, do you mean to follow Mom and Dad on their honeymoon?”
“Woojoo… Woojoo also likes traveling…”
“Honeymoons are trips where Mom and Dad get really, really busy. What did Dad say last time? Why is he busy?”
“Uh~?”
For a moment, Woojoo focused on her memory, as if reviving it while swallowing tears.
Then, the hands clapped together!

“Woojoo made Hyung-ah happy!”
“Okay, then what should we do? While Mom and Dad are away, you should have fun with Grandpa, right?”
As Chaeha gently stroked Woojoo’s smooth hair, Woojoo vigorously nodded her head.
“Yes! Woojoo will go to Grandpa’s and wait!”
Watching the strangely logical persuasion, Seolwon chose not to interfere.
The promise that wasn’t a promise between the two had become too firm.
“Wow~ Look at the color of the sea!”
“….”
Seolwon, who exclaimed in admiration in front of the emerald-colored beach, turned perplexed when there was no response.
Under the high sun, Chaeha’s gaze was gently spreading like the sun itself.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”
“Just because, it’s nice to see what you like. You seem so excited, just like Woojoo.”
The somewhat disconcerted Seolwon pursed her lips.
The fact that they were on their honeymoon itself was so fresh that she unknowingly became excited.
“Besides, I can’t dislike your attire.”
“….!”
Embarrassed Seolwon hastily tried to cover herself with her arms.
Chaeha approached, sweeping away her back, revealing the small of her back.
It was an endlessly tempting touch.
“I’m glad you chose the sea. Thanks to you, I can see a wife dressed like this.”

Saying that, Chaeha pressed her lips to the exposed nape of Seolwon’s neck.
It was a kiss that instantly raised the temperature.
Feeling it was getting out of hand, Seolwon quickly moved towards the sunbed, intending to divert her gaze while sipping on the prepared drink.
Once lying on the sunbed, the problem was that Chaeha’s gaze became even hotter.
“Should I apply sunscreen?”
“Oh, no, it’s okay.”
“Well, with your fair skin like this, it would be a shame if you get tanned; it’s so charming.”
Although he said that, from his eyes, oil was already dripping, touching Seolwon’s skin.
It seemed like sleeping tonight was going to be challenging.
Then, after taking a sip of the cocktail, Chaeha shifted the atmosphere more seriously.
To be honest, I didn’t expect you to come to the sea.”

Suddenly, a shadow fell over his side.
Knowing the reason well, Seolwon openly revealed her feelings.
“…I wanted to erase the bad memories about the sea together. When we went camping with Director Jung before, and you thought I fell into the water… Actually, I was more surprised.”
“I heard from Chae Ha and Woojoo. When I lived on the island, I always looked at the sea with loneliness.”
“…That’s right. Your relationship with Chaeha seemed like a vast sea. But now, we’re together like this.”
Shyly, Seolwon placed her hand on the back of Chaeha’s hand over the sunbed.
“Riding an airplane with you, walking on the beach and laughing like this… I’m happy now.”
“Min Seolwon…”
“From now on, there will always be happy things. Because now I’m with Chaeha.”
Again, Chaeha’s hand overlapped warmly on Seolwon’s small hand.

They didn’t say anything, but the unspoken vow was clearly conveyed to Seolwon.
That night.
Countless stars poured beyond the open terrace.
The curtains tied on both sides were swaying like dancing in the breeze.
“Huh?”
Seolwon, who found something like a small droplet on the white bed, quickly picked it up.
Then, she let out a small sigh.
Her eyes soon followed Chaeha, who followed her, seeking an answer.
“It’s what our son gave us. It contains his admirable wish for Mom and Dad’s happiness.”
Indeed.

Unlike the withered ones that were in the flower basket, the stem of the silver droplet flower inside the glass bottle was vividly alive.
It was moving, touching, and filled with vitality.
Seolwon carefully held the flower and filled the glass bottle with water.
At least for the time being, she wanted to feel Woojoo’s cute heart.
After a while, the two of them sat on the bed, kneeling and facing each other.
Was a honeymoon such a special thing?
Even though they were already sleeping in the same bed every night, their appearances were new, as if seeing each other for the first time.
Perhaps it was because they had finally become a true ‘couple.’
“…Why are you looking at me without saying anything like that?”
Under the soft lighting, Seolwon asked shyly, looking at Chaeha, who was silently observing her lips.

Although he had been looking at me with passionate eyes all day, he showed no sign of rushing.
Exactly, the thrilling tension filled the space between the two.
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
