Oh No, I Possessed a Male Character! (13 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 64
Both Klaus and Muzel had deliberately avoided each other all day.
Muzel was clearly just as embarrassed as Klaus.
Otherwise, two people who had once been so perfectly in sync could never have become this awkward with each other.
Klaus had no idea how the day had passed. He entered the night still tense.
Having visited once before, he could head straight to Muzel’s quarters without getting lost this time.
However.
“……?”
The door was firmly locked. It seemed no one was inside.
“Ha!”
His disappointment was immense, given how tightly wound he’d been.
It felt far too unfair to just turn back now. Stubbornness seized Klaus, and he decided to wait for Muzel.
His mind was noisy with turmoil. What could possibly have taken Muzel away from his quarters at this hour?
The answer came to him quickly.
“……Lutz.”
He could still clearly hear their conversation from that morning. The bright, easy tone of Lutz’s voice now felt painfully grating.

Male lead is a Love-Obsessed Merman
When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”

Zaacna Chapter 66Oh wow! It feels like everything I was saying about Muzel in earlier chapters was addressed somewhat here. This chapter is so good for her character growth! Sadly, I think this will strengthen her point of not getting with Klaus for her. Poor Klaus
Zaacna Chapter 71Aww! Klaus emotional growth is really something, especially compared to Muzel’s. He’s clumsy on the execution but firm on his feelings.
Also, this chapter made me feel like Muzel is really emotionally…stunted? I think that’s it. I can’t remember the last chapter I read where she isn’t riddled with anxiety or churning with emotions.

Hearing how Klaus describes Rumi/Elfride, it seems as if the inclination that brought them into this world placed them into a character that suits/ fits their personality. That explains why it’s not hard for them to blend as well as they have a the character they became.
Also, poor prince. As he hasn’t experienced these types of emotions before, he’s fumbling every which way. His reasoning does make sense for him though. If this is how I feel, you would feel the same way too! Very 1 dimension, as someone who is first discovering this emotion might think.
