Their lips clashed fiercely. They didn’t even want the slightest separation. It was Tae Hong’s desperate yearning for Hae Jin’s love—and her fervent response to his possessiveness.

“Let’s… let’s tour the room.”

Hae Jin barely managed to utter the words through her slightly parted lips, but even that was lost into Tae Hong’s mouth. His resolve was clear—he wouldn’t allow any conversation beyond their bodies.

Though they’d made love thousands of times, Tae Hong seemed unusually urgent today.

First he claimed he couldn’t make a U-turn so had to keep going straight, then suddenly organized a publicity team dinner.

These weren’t the kind of disjointed actions the strategic planner Tae Hong would normally take.

“You need to focus on me, Hae Jin.”

Somehow sensing her wandering thoughts again, he made it clear he wouldn’t let any other thought enter her mind.

In one swift motion, Tae Hong scooped Hae Jin up and headed straight for the bedroom at the far end of the suite.

Hae Jin’s closed eyes slowly moved, but lifting her eyelids felt impossible. She felt more exhausted than ever.

Lately, Hae Jin had been overwhelmed. She often dozed off mid-conversation while sitting with Tae Hong on the couch, and each time, he’d immediately wrap his arms around her, urging her to go to bed.

She knew he was frustrated with her right now. Though she must’ve seemed woefully inadequate to him, his gentle hand stroking her back was filled with tenderness.

She couldn’t forget the look of disappointment in his eyes when he’d been promoted to vice chairman.

While others might envy such a promotion, he only lamented that he could no longer share the same floor with her.
