The long sleeves unlocked the door. As Tae-hong approached Hae-jin slowly, step by step, her steps led her backward. Step by step, slowly, both feet crawled into the room.
Suddenly, the room door, moving slowly, closed. Tae-hong slowly closed the distance with her. The more he did, the more her trembling pupils seemed helpless.
Hae-jin’s heel touched the wall. In the dark room, there was light only where the two stood.
Perhaps darkness would have been better. Hae-jin’s eyes, shaking once, couldn’t find their place as they trembled.
“Deputy Director Jung.”
Under the illuminated light, Tae-hong’s face standing there was more serious than ever before. The gaze Hae-jin only directed at him was thicker than usual.
“I will answer.”
Thump, thump.
Hae-jin’s heart malfunctioned, beating wildly as if crazy. His quietly murmuring voice was provocative.
It felt like he was tightly wrapped from head to toe. It made sense that she couldn’t move unless it was like this.

“Team, Team Leader.”
Hae-jin’s voice trembled, and her heart trembled too. She was perplexed by her unusual behavior.
“S-so.”
She knew what he wanted. Knowing made her unable to move even more. Why is that?
This moment, where she received Tae-hong’s gaze completely, was evidence of her heart pounding fiercely, waiting for this moment.
Perhaps she also had the same feelings. She waited, provoked, and ultimately waited for this moment.
Tae-hong’s eyes always faced her. From the time he looked in the direction she was going, or even before that. He imagined this moment.
And he waited. Perhaps he had decided to bring forward this moment a little more.
Now, in this moment, Hae-jin was in front of him, and the shaking pupils reflected in the light presented her to him. Without finishing the words, he placed his finger on her parted lips.
Startled, she could only leave herself to Tae-hong, with her shoulders trembling and her surprised lips not closing or opening further.

Tae-hong lightly pressed the plump lower lip and moved along the lip line.
Jeong-hae-jin, listen well, now that I’m going to give my answer.
“Your lips.”
Tae-hong’s touch was heavy. It was an intensity that Hae-jin could feel adequately.
“Warm.”
As he moved a bit sideways, his finger touched the thickest part of her lips. As he pressed a bit harder, Hae-jin’s shoulders shook.
“Soft.”
Again, his finger touched the tip of the opposite lip. While she focused on her lips, he looked down at Hae-jin with a straight posture. The light above shone on her dazzling face.
“Moist.”
I wanted to tell her that it wasn’t a mistake and that I was embarrassed too. And I wanted to say that I wanted to do it again, that I wanted to quench my thirst on her lips.

Without letting go of Hae-jin’s lips, he looked down as if seeking permission. The close gaze intertwined tightly.
The illuminating light that illuminated them went out. Darkness arrived. Although they couldn’t see each other, their breaths reached each other warmly in close proximity.
Perhaps I had also been waiting for this moment. He said he clapped because we were together. He informed me that it was not one-sided but mutual.
Not a mistake, but something he wanted.
Hae-jin’s back, which had touched the wall, fell. The light that sensed her movement turned on again.
Hae-jin’s two hands pulled Tae-hong’s sweater slightly. Being pulled unceremoniously, he swallowed her lips as is.
He delved unreservedly into the warm, soft, and moist places he had mentioned before.
The back that had fallen touched the wall again, and his large and warm palm covered the back of her head as if protecting it.
It was the beginning of a kiss that felt new as if it were the first time, although it wasn’t the first time.
Even though it was endlessly soft, there was no consciousness in the rhythm that pulled forcefully. The extinguished light repeated, flashing above the heads of the two.
The hand holding onto his clothes suddenly wrapped around her neck. Holding her waist tightly and forcefully thrusting, as if not allowing even a hair’s breadth of space.

Throughout receiving him, Hae-jin had no thoughts in her head. Now, only this moment would be imprinted on her.
How much time had passed, or rather, how much had they been in contact?
The sensation felt from his lips, which were still touching hers, invaded her entire body. The feeling dominated by the small lips was beyond imagination.
She felt the strength in the hand that wrapped around her waist. The hand that was tightly circling seemed to want to move towards another place.
However, Hae-jin couldn’t think beyond this. The limit she could accept was here.
“Wait, wait.”
As she tried to say something somehow from his forcefully approaching lips, crumpled pronunciation barely came out.
The space where the lips fell was filled with the sound of their breathing. His regretful eyes still touched Hae-jin’s slightly swollen lips. It seemed burdensome even to wait for Hae-jin to speak.
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
