Young In and Sung Hyuk arrived at the Korean restaurant twenty minutes before the appointed time.

The two, guided to a private room, sat side by side at one end of the table. Young In glanced at Sung Hyuk and let out a deep sigh.

“I shouldn’t have said anything unnecessary…”

“They gladly understood, so why are you acting like this?”

That morning, Sung Hyuk had received her request to accompany her to the dinner appointment. Since Young In, who was usually so fiercely independent that it sometimes hurt, was relying on him, he felt grateful and happy and immediately said yes without hesitation.

Only later did he remember his prior appointment with the director where contract talks would take place. He politely asked for understanding and postponed it, but thanks to Ji Sang running his mouth, Young In found out.

“There’s nothing more important to me than you.”

As he was comforting her drooping shoulders, the sliding door quietly opened.

Young In and Sung Hyuk stood up at the same time upon seeing Woo Jin enter.

Young In silently bowed her head, while Sung Hyuk greeted him verbally and bowed at the waist.

“You’ve arrived.”

Woo Jin looked at Young In with tender eyes for a moment before extending his hand to Sung Hyuk.

“Nice to meet you.”

Even before seeing his face, Woo Jin already liked Sung Hyuk.

How could he not like someone who went so far as to track down a person who once worked at his older brother’s house just to confirm the truth—someone who was that sincere toward his daughter?
