Ha-Yoon tightly gripped the arm of Young-In, who kept staggering because her legs gave out.
“Where’s the bathroom?”
She looked around, but the hall was so large that she couldn’t figure out where the bathroom was. There were no staff members nearby to ask. To make matters worse, the body she was holding onto was getting heavier.
“Team Manager, please try to stay conscious.”
The intoxicated person did not respond.
“Ji Seung-Chan, that bastard.”
Ha-Yoon gritted her teeth, recalling the face of the person responsible for getting Young-In drunk.
No matter how handsome and talented an actor he was, how could she feel anything positive towards a lecherous man who was so desperate to take advantage of her precious team manager?
“Did you think you could take her away if she got drunk?”
The sinister intent behind his suggestion of the game was so obvious it was almost laughable.

Ha-Yoon, who had reluctantly followed her team to the celebrity’s birthday party out of curiosity, felt sorry for her team manager, who had become the target. She lifted her head, sensing someone approaching.
Her eyes widened as she saw the man standing in front of her.
“CEO!”
Sung-Hyuk, who had been frowning at Young-In, shifted his gaze to Ha-Yoon.
“Why did you drink so much? It’s not even your birthday.”
Ha-Yoon couldn’t help but notice his seemingly angry demeanor.
“Because of a command in the game, I had to drink as a penalty…”
His already furrowed brow deepened.
“I’ll take her.”
Ha-Yoon’s gaze narrowed.

She remembered the man who had said ‘I’ll take Team Manager Young-In home’ and overlapped him with Sung-Hyuk, feeling a surge of wariness. His sudden appearance and demand felt intrusive.
“Why would you, CEO?”
Sung-Hyuk was pleased to see Ha-Yoon being wary of him. Although his question was not meant to test her, he was grateful she didn’t just hand Young-In over to him.
“What’s your name?”
He had heard it in the elevator in the morning and again at lunch, but couldn’t remember it.
“An Ha-Yoon.”
He stored her name in his mind and answered her question.
“I have a personal acquaintance with Young-In.”
“What kind…”
“A friend of her brother, a senior from college. Is that sufficient?”

It hardly seemed so.
Ha-Yoon was suspicious by nature. Even so, she couldn’t outright demand evidence from someone who held sway over her livelihood, so she circled around the topic.
“I haven’t heard such stories.”
It was at that moment that the slumped body stirred.
Ha-Yoon looked down with a smile.
“Team Manager.”
As Young-In slowly lifted her head, Ha-Yoon decided to pass the decision to her.
“Shall I take you home, or will you go with the CEO?”
Before she could devise an alternative plan if no answer came, Young-In’s blurry eyes affectionately gazed upon the face resembling a finely sculpted statue.
Sung-Hyuk’s face.

“Car… Sung-Hyuk…”
Getting her answer, Ha-Yoon quickly released Young-In’s arm.
“I entrust the Team Manager to you.”
She had only referred to him as ‘CEO,’ but Young-In correctly saying ‘Sung-Hyuk’ was enough verification for her.
Sung-Hyuk supported the staggering Young-In with his hand and pulled her towards him. Her slender body nestled into his chest. The way his hand wrapped around her slender waist was incredibly natural.
Ha-Yoon watched the two with a meaningful look.
A brother’s friend and a college senior, was that all there was to it? She felt there was something inexplicable beyond that.
As she let her imagination soar, her eyes suddenly widened.
“Oh, right. I’ll bring the Team Manager’s bag.”
“An Ha-Yoon, take care of it and bring it to the office.”

Sung-Hyuk didn’t want to leave Young-In here any longer.
“Yes, understood. Go ahead.”
Ha-Yoon watched the departing pair and a man hovering around them for a moment before turning away.
“But why was the CEO here?”
She recalled mentioning at lunch today where the birthday party was and how excited her team members were because it was a place too expensive for her to afford. She couldn’t believe it was just a coincidence.
“Is my suspicion correct?”
A buoyant look was evident on Ha-Yoon’s face as she walked back to the room.
The man who thought Ha-Yoon was loitering around Sung-Hyuk and Young-In was Ji-Sang.
Since Sung-Hyuk suggested they should leave, Ji-Sang’s eyes had widened and showed no sign of returning to their normal size.
He looked at Young-In with a mixture of bewilderment and fascination.
“I didn’t expect to see her here.”

He guessed why Sung-Hyuk, of all the places, chose to sit near the entrance.
“Did you come here knowing Young-In would be here today? Sat near the entrance because you wouldn’t know when she leaves from inside the room?”
Ji-Sang chuckled and tapped his foot, as if it all made sense to him.
“Making the great Cha Sung-Hyuk a stalker, Young-In is really something.”
“I had a reason to be here. Don’t treat me like a stalker.”
As they walked towards the entrance, Sung-Hyuk responded curtly and pointed somewhere with his chin.
“Just stop talking and pay the bill.”
An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!
