Croney, whose face had gone pale from crying so much, ran to Meiana and threw her arms around her, tears streaming down her cheeks. Lujian and Ambrose, who had been trembling while clutching their basket, also began sobbing in relief.

Sediloi spoke.

“Where are Ariante and Silas? Cici isn’t here either. Where did the three of them go?”
