Ariante looked at Mayana with an expression of disbelief, then looked down at the dress on the stool as if it were not clothing but a snake’s skin, pricking it with her trembling fingers and then opening her eyes wide.
“What is…… this? Are you saying I should wear this?”
Mayana answered cheerfully.
“Yes. It’s the perfect outfit for a day at the lake like today. I made it all night, what do you think? Do you like it?”
Ariante, who had been blinking, finally seemed to make up her mind, slowly picking up and spreading the dress.
“Is this all?”
“Ah, the waist will be decorated with a ribbon. I think it will look very cute.”
“What about the corset? Underwear and petticoat?”
Mayana showed the underwear that had been laid underneath. The waist had wide, soft pleats instead of buckles to allow for stretching and shrinking, and a small ribbon was tied at the bottom, without any particular decoration.
“You can wear this. I’ve lined the skirt so you don’t need to wear a petticoat. It’s a dress that doesn’t need a corset! Because it fits the princess perfectly.”

“I am……. ”
“Now, Princess. Will you wear it?”
Ariante, with a bewildered face, stretched out her arms, then raised them, then rolled her feet as if she didn’t know what to do. Of course, it was natural. Mayana chuckled to herself.
So far, the clothes Ariante wore had been merely reduced in size, imitating the dresses that adults should wear.
In other words, not only did she have to wear layers of inner clothing, but also a corset, petticoat, countless ribbons, buttons, and lace decorations that should be lightly worn so she couldn’t run or move significantly… It was never a comfortable outfit for a child.
After meeting Sedilroy, Mayana spent the night making clothes for Ariante. Making patterns and sewing anew was timeconsuming, so she searched Ariante’s wardrobe for something to alter.
She found a slightly oversized thin summer dress that needed to be tightly tied from the chest with a corset, and a dress that needed to be worn separately on the top and bottom. Mayana tore off the bottom of the first dress and roughly trimmed the ragged parts with sewing.
She then attached the bottom part of the second dress, shortened the length, and added pleats to make it easy to move.
“Okay, Princess. Raise your arms up!”
Ariante, with wideopen eyes, unknowingly stretched her arms up at Mayana’s words.

Mayana almost threw a onepiece dress onto Ariante, buttoned it up, and decorated her waist with a ribbon half the size of her palm.
“It’s done.”
Ariante looked at Mayana with startled eyes. Then she looked up and down at herself, and like swimming, she paddled her arms.
“Is this really all?”
“Yes, this is all. If the weather gets a little cooler, I’ll make you a thin coat to wear over it. Look! I’m talking about this lace decoration. Although I couldn’t sew it neatly in a hurry, it’s not noticeable from a distance. Even if the princess runs around, it won’t fall off.”
How could it be so cute! Mayana looked at Ariante and smiled proudly. It was nothing to fix a sevenyearold human child’s clothing compared to making a tiny doll’s clothing, where a 1cm mistake was not allowed.
‘It was a little shaky when tearing it because it’s such expensive fabric……. Well, it’s not my money. What’s overflowing in the Duke’s family is money, so what does it matter.’
Then there was a knock. Mayana said.
“It’s Gretail. I asked him to bring breakfast.”
Certainly. Mayana reached out her hand. Ariante still looked at that hand with a dazed expression, as if she were dreaming, and carefully took it. Mayana, clutching that small hand, cheerfully went outside like a child excited for a picnic.
“Grete!”

Mayana’s face turned cold as she opened the door. Ariante, who had been smiling unknowingly while holding her hand, was the same.
The person standing next to the trolley was not Grete, but Bainty. She looked at Ariante and scoffed at Mayana with a sharp laugh.
“You, have you gone mad? What’s with the princess’s dress? What will the Duke say when he sees that?”
Damn it, where’s Grete? Mayana tried to suppress her rising anger with a grimace and nodded with a sullen attitude. She knew from long experience that it was good to maintain courtesy, especially with someone who would nitpick.
“The Duke himself allowed it, Miss Bainty. And the princess must go for a walk after breakfast.”
It meant she should leave quickly. But Bainty turned to Mayana with her eyes wide open.
“How dare you lie about the Duke?”
“If you’re curious whether it’s a lie or not, Miss Bainty, you can ask the Duke directly.”
Bainty approached Mayana, chattering. The thumping sound of her feet resounded despite her dress. That’s when it happened.
“Bainty.”

Ariante spoke. Bainty, who had stopped abruptly, looked down at Ariante with fierce eyes.
“Why are you doing this, Your Highness?”
“Look at your feet.”
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
