“Representative, I came to pick up Seo Tae In, but they absolutely won’t let me inside.”

At Driver Kim’s words, Nok Hyeon furrowed his brow.

He’d half expected this.

Tae In’s press conference had stirred up a much bigger issue than he’d anticipated.

Since even the police—who had failed to properly investigate—were now under heavy public criticism, he’d been confident they wouldn’t put Tae In in danger again.

Yet he never imagined they’d lock Tae In inside the house.

“I’ll handle this myself.”

After ending the call with Driver Kim, Nok Hyeon dialed Tae In.

But Tae In didn’t answer.

He opened the tracking app to check on Tae In’s situation, only to find the robot lying in bed, staring at the ceiling.

Nok Hyeon immediately stood up, halting his work mid-task.

Without even thinking to call Yi Kyung, he got into his car and drove straight to Tae In’s family home.

Fortunately, it wasn’t far from the office, so he arrived quickly.

Since he’d already called Jung Gyu, he was able to enter without any argument.

Nok Hyeon forcibly suppressed his uncharacteristically anxious feelings.
