Se Ji had known it from the very beginning—that she was different from everyone else.

She recalled the day she first saw Tae In. That day, Se Ji had been utterly shocked.

It seemed the word “lovely” existed solely for Tae In—her rich, chestnut-brown hair with its perfect texture and her unusually fair skin were so beautiful they made her look like an angel.

Unlike Se Ji, whose cold demeanor couldn’t be hidden no matter how brightly she smiled, Tae In radiated warmth just by being seen.

She appeared as if crafted from every precious and exquisite thing in existence—and, ironically, her heart was just as warm.

Although Se Ji was only the daughter of someone who worked for her, Tae In treated her with kindness.

Even when Se Ji soiled a pretty dress or broke a toy, Tae In would worry instead, asking if she’d gotten hurt.
