My Perfectly Flawed (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 2
Yu In, who had been deeply asleep until just now, suddenly woke up.
Having slept soundly without even dreaming, Yu In sat up, still dazed and groggy.
Something draped over her shoulders then dropped with a soft thud. Lowering her head with blank eyes, she saw an unfamiliar black suit jacket covering her legs.
For a few seconds, Yu In puzzled over what it was, then quickly looked around in alarm.
The pitch-black dashboard, the faint scent of leather seats tickling her nose, the darkly tinted windows.
“Huh!”
She had been lying in the passenger seat of an unfamiliar car.
The nearly unworn interior held only one breathing presence—Yu In herself.
It was too careless to be a kidnapping, yet too strange to dismiss—it frightened Yu In.
Just as she tried to recall what on earth had happened, the driver’s seat door clicked open, and a low voice rang out from the darkness first.
“You’re awake now.”
Chilly night air and a sharp smell wafted in together as a tall figure squeezed into the seat.
Seeing the man—dressed entirely in black from head to toe and looming large—Yu In nearly fainted again, pressing herself as far as possible against the door and curling up like a crumpled can.
With a stunned expression, Yu In asked the man,
“Wh-who are you?”
“Don’t you remember?”
“What… memory?”
“That’s going to be a problem, then.”
His sharply downturned eyes briefly scanned her wide-open eyes and gaping mouth before he spoke.
“You passed out clinging to me, Ms. Nam Yu In.”
“What? Me? That can’t be!”
Her large eyes, trembling with confusion, darted around wildly—then suddenly froze.
A scene that definitely hadn’t existed just moments ago floated into her mind from somewhere.
The neat, crisp black suit. The cold, heavy voice. The strikingly handsome face she’d silently marveled at.
And the man before her—the owner of all those things.
As her widened eyes hesitantly met his smooth face, he asked flatly,
“Remember now?”
Yu In gave a small nod, her large eyes anxiously rolling as unease filled her.
She didn’t know what to do—the impossible had unfolded right before her eyes.
That was why she’d said it couldn’t be true. She genuinely couldn’t believe it.
She knew things had gone wrong the moment she got drunk, but she’d never imagined the chain reaction would spiral this far.
Suspicion and distrust grew atop her heavy sense of embarrassment, directed toward the stranger who’d taken her from the club and let her sleep in his car.
“Why am I here?”
“You didn’t walk out on your own after passing out, so there’s only one answer.”
Even in the dim interior, his dark eyes sparkled with a hint of amusement.
Yu In shrank further into her seat at the sight of him but forced her voice to sound casual.
“Why did you take me out? You could’ve just left me there.”
“On that hallway floor? Ms. Nam Yu In, do you even know what kind of place that is to say something like that?”
“It’s… not a club? Then what is it?”
Now that she thought about it, even when they’d met in that hallway, he’d urged her to leave quickly.
She’d asked why he was so on edge about that deep-purple corridor, but after a brief hesitation, he’d simply shaken his head as if to say it didn’t matter and fell silent.
Frowning at his unanswered reply, Yu In grumbled discontentedly,
“You could’ve just woken me up.”
“You think I didn’t try?”
“If I hadn’t woken up, you could’ve just taken me to the police station.”
“What for? Would waking up there have been any better?”
“At least—”
At least she wouldn’t have woken up trembling with anxiety, nor would she be alone with him in this enclosed space.
Just before the words spilled out, Yu In clamped her mouth shut. She didn’t need to reveal her fear as a weakness.
Watching her fall suddenly silent, the man studied her with interest and prompted,
Trending
“At least?”
“…Nothing.”
Though he hadn’t gotten an answer, he seemed to understand what she’d meant to say and gave a faint chuckle.
“Still, isn’t it customary to say thank you in situations like this?”
“…”
“I even took off my jacket so you could sleep comfortably and stepped outside while you rested.”
He nodded toward the suit jacket, which Yu In had been clutching tightly out of nervousness.
Realizing her own unconscious action, Yu In immediately loosened her grip—but the jacket, already creased, hung limply and refused to return to its original state.
Flustered, Yu In glanced between the crumpled jacket and its owner. He frowned and clicked his tongue.
“Damn. It’s been less than a month since I had this tailored.”
“…Ah, I’m sorry. I’ll pay for dry cleaning.”
“Forget it.”
The man pulled the jacket from her hands.
Yu In’s eyes followed the garment as it was tossed carelessly onto the back seat, then turned to the driver’s seat where a suddenly serious, stern voice spoke.
“From now on, drink responsibly. No one’s going to rescue you like this again.”
“…”
“No matter how urgent it feels, don’t just squat down anywhere.”
“…”
“Understood?”
His tone—like a teacher scolding a misbehaving student—left Yu In with a strange feeling.
Did he think he had the right to worry or interfere simply because he’d taken her, drunk and unconscious, and waited until she woke?
Whatever his intention, it made her uncomfortable, so Yu In stayed silent. The man pressed further, adding sharply, “Answer.”
After a moment’s hesitation, and catching sight of his eyebrows rising threateningly, Yu In automatically replied in a small voice,
“…Yes.”
“Good. Now put on your seatbelt.”
“Yes. Wait—why the seatbelt?”
“Aren’t you going home?”
Now he was assuming, as if it were obvious, that she’d ride this car home.
His attitude was so natural she almost went along with it—but she quickly snapped back to her senses and shook both hands and head vigorously to reject his offer.
“I’ll go by myself. I can’t cause you any more trouble.”
“Ms. Nam Yu In. It’s 1 a.m.”
“Yes. I know.”
“It’s too late for a student to be wandering around, don’t you think?”
“What? I’m… an adult, you know.”
First scolding her like a teacher, now treating her like a child—Yu In’s protest went ignored as the man started the car.
He tilted his head slightly, looking at her with sleepy, half-lidded eyes—then suddenly smiled, the corners of his eyes curving gracefully.
It was clearly the smile of someone fully aware of its power.
Yu In froze mid-breath, completely stunned.
“So. Where do you live?”
****
The next day, late morning.
Sprawled across her bed, Yu In couldn’t properly enjoy her long-awaited lazy holiday—it was the first one in a week—and instead kept thinking about yesterday’s unsettling incident.
The man’s bright, cheerful smile lingered too vividly in her mind.
And the deep dimple on one cheek, which she hadn’t noticed until he smiled slightly.
Ashamed that she’d foolishly fallen for that smile and revealed her neighborhood, Yu In slapped her forehead repeatedly.
At least she’d shown some presence of mind and given the name of a place two blocks away from her actual apartment—that was a small mercy.
But for some reason, when the man heard the name of another apartment in the same neighborhood, he’d smiled coldly, leaving an inexplicable uneasiness lingering in her mind.
“Ah, forget it. Just forget it all, Nam Yu In!”
Yu In thrashed her legs in the air as if trying to physically shake every memory of yesterday from her head, rolling around on the bed.
Right. It was just one of those worst-case scenarios you experience once in a lifetime.

Going to the club. Getting so drunk she passed out. The man insisting he’d saved her.
She’d bury it all. She wouldn’t go back to such places, wouldn’t drink again, and would never see that man again.
All the strange events ended yesterday.
After repeating this like a mantra for a long while, her restless mind finally calmed. Yu In stretched and got up.
Then, suddenly, her eyes landed on a white shopping bag on her desk—and she gasped in alarm.
“Oh, right!”
Only then did she realize she’d completely forgotten about her friends in the chaos caused by that nameless man.
She’d messaged Jae Hee saying she was heading home, so Jae Hee would be fine—but Yoon Ji Han was surely throwing a fit by now.
Frantically searching the perfectly folded leather jacket Jae Hee had lent her, she panicked when she found the pocket empty.
“…Huh?”
Her phone wasn’t where it should be.
She hadn’t even checked it after getting home last night, so it should’ve been there—why wasn’t it?
Just in case, she searched the entire room, but the small device didn’t turn up.
Finally, Yu In went to the living room and asked her mom, who was relaxing in front of the TV,
“Mom, have you seen my phone?”
“No, I haven’t. Isn’t it in your room?”
“Yeah… I can’t find it.”
She absentmindedly rummaged through the living room sofa she hadn’t even sat on. Where could it be?
The last time Yu In remembered having her phone was in the club room where Jae Hee’s birthday party had been held.
She distinctly recalled putting it in her pocket after texting Jae Hee and Ji Han that she was leaving—and hadn’t taken it out since.
Had she misplaced it while drunk? Or maybe dropped it when she’d crouched down in that strange hallway?
Or… could it possibly—
No way. Surely she hadn’t left it in that car.
As the situation began spiraling strangely again, Yu In was instantly engulfed by anxiety.
“Mom! Can I borrow your phone? I think I lost mine.”
“What? Where?”
“I don’t remember. Where’s yours?”
Taking the phone her mom handed her, Yu In pressed the familiar number firmly.
She took several deep breaths before finally pressing call.
Please—let no one answer. Let it just be broken on the ground. Please, please let that be the case.
When she finally pressed the button, the dial tone rang out—drrrr… drrrr…
And then, shattering her hopes completely, the other end picked up.
“Yes.”
At the same moment, Yu In’s heart plummeted—deep, deep down.
She recognized the voice from just one syllable. It hadn’t faded from her memory even slightly.
Unable to breathe or utter a word, Yu In stayed silent—so the other person spoke first.
“Ms. Nam Yu In?”
It was the man from yesterday.
Male lead is reincarnated to save his wife
I’ve also read this one twice already. The female lead is kinda soft and gets embarrassed easily—not really my type, but the plot is definitely worth reading. Hurry up and read it, y’all!

Intro
When Shen Yuan encountered Su Jin again in his previous life, she had already become the Prime Minister of the current dynasty. As for him, the former top young master of the capital, he had long since fallen into the abyss, becoming a singer on a pleasure boat.
After a song ended, he was redeemed and sent to the Su Residence.
Su Jin respected and cherished him, gave him a roof over his head, and bestowed him with warmth. Shen Yuan fell deeper and deeper, but before he could express his feelings, Su Jin passed away.
Shen Yuan died to follow her in death, but instead, he returned to when he was fifteen years old.
At that time, he was not yet engaged, and Su Jin was just a poor scholar.
Shen Yuan gritted his teeth, casting aside all his pride, and thought of ways to coax and entice her every day.
The colder and more indifferent Su Jin was towards him, the more proactive Shen Yuan became.
He was not afraid of being mocked by the world, only wanting to marry his Wife-master early, to hold her hand and never let go for a lifetime.
[Note: This story will not specifically point out the male lead’s reincarnation time point; it’s all in the details. Whenever you feel that the male lead is acting strangely, he has most likely been reincarnated.]
