Their lunch ended quickly.

She timidly asked in a small voice, “Do you have ice cream too?”
“So good?”
Ki Yeon, resting his chin lazily in his hand, watched Yu In continuously slipping cold scoops into her mouth before finally asking.
Yu In nodded, holding the small silver spoon between her lips, prompting Ki Yeon to let out an amused chuckle.
She’d been hesitant about the meat—worth ten times more than that melting thing at room temperature—but now she was grinning happily about ice cream, and somehow, it looked cute.
Not long after, Yu In quietly set her spoon down.
“I’m done.”
“I’ve never seen Nam Yu In finish an entire bowl before.”
Ki Yeon glanced playfully at the now-empty transparent bowl.
“Let’s go.”
Ki Yeon sprang up nimbly as soon as he finished speaking and draped his jacket over his arm.
While he paid the bill, Yu In followed slowly behind and awkwardly stood close to his back.
