Lily, having bowed formally to the Crown Prince, shifted her gaze to the woman standing behind him. Their eyes met, and the woman smiled, curving her eyes into a lovely crescent. Then she stepped forward and extended her hand to her.

“I’m glad to meet you. My name is Sonia Kaman Andreas.”

Ah, so this is Her Highness the Crown Princess. Realizing this belatedly, Lily hastily grasped Sonia’s outstretched hand.

“My name is Liliana Benjamin. It’s an honor to meet Your Highness.”

In contrast, the Crown Prince remained perfectly calm. Austin, who had been watching their tense exchange either as if it were nothing unusual or as if he found it amusing, checked the time and then spoke to Harold.
