“No, not at all awkward. And everything suits my taste perfectly. Now I understand why Yoon cooks so well—she must have learned it from you, Grandma.”

“Our Yoon learns quickly whatever you teach her. Ever since she was little, she’d follow me around saying I worked too hard and help me out. Now she’s even better than me.”

“Yes, I see.”

Kang Hyun adored Ok Soon and Ho Sik—their resemblance to Yoon made them feel instantly familiar and comfortable, as if he’d known them forever.
