Knock, knock!
Kang Hyun knocked on Yun’s door.
“Study while drinking tea.”
Yun paused her laptop lecture.
“Thank you. I’ll enjoy it.”
Yun accepted the cup Kang Hyun handed her, cradling it in both hands. The warmth was comforting.
“But why haven’t you thrown away that laptop?”
Kang Hyun asked, looking at Yun’s old laptop still sitting in the corner of the desk.
“Well, it felt too wasteful to just throw it away. I bought it when I was working parttime during college, so it has a lot of memories.”
The laptop was secondhand when she bought it, but it was the first laptop Yun ever owned, so she cherished it a lot. Her friends teased her that it was an artifact from the stone age, but to Yun, it was a treasured laptop.

“A laptop, and you talk about memories?”
“Still, it works fine and it feels familiar with my touch.”
Yun said, stroking the old laptop.
“Familiarity with an object? So what kind of parttime job did you do?”
“Just various things.”
She had bought it with the money she earned from shooting a beverage commercial, but it felt too shy to tell him that she had filmed a commercial.
“Isn’t the desk too small?”
“Small? It’s spacious and very nice.”
Yun’s eyes curved into halfmoons again.
“You like it that much?”

“Of course. Kang Hyun bought it for me. I love the scent of the wood, and it seems like I study better here.”
Yun said, gently caressing the desk. It had already started to shine, probably because she cleaned it every day.
“But this desk must be very expensive, right?”
“What difference does it make if a desk is expensive?”
Kang Hyun had bought the desk without much thought, but seeing Yun liking it made him feel good too.
“Don’t you need anything else? That’s why I told you to just take the card.”
“That’s more than enough for me.”
“Alright, understood. However, go to Kyeong Hwa’s shop and buy any clothes you like. By the way, didn’t she bring clothes today?”
At Kang Hyun’s question, Yun hesitated for a moment before answering.
“She did bring some. But I received so much last time, so……”

“Just accept it. Kyeong Hwa opened her shop last year and hasn’t fully established herself yet. She says she barely has any customers. Plus, she’s been so busy looking after me lately that she hardly goes to her shop. So, I should help her sell more.”
“Really? Last time I saw, there seemed to be some customers.”
Yun tilted her head.
“Even after paying rent and the employee’s salary, she’s still in the red.”
“Oh.”
Saying it as Kyeong Hwa had suggested seemed to have the desired effect; Yun agreed. Kyeong Hwa had given him a hint that saying it this way would make Yun feel less burdened.
Kyeong Hwa was one of Kang Hyun’s closest confidants, along with Mu Jin and Chul Young. Despite her seemingly talkative nature, Kyeong Hwa was surprisingly tightlipped, never speaking about Kang Hyun’s private life.
Over time, she built up a great deal of trust and had proven herself capable. Thus, Kang Hyun had entrusted all matters of his wardrobe to her.
“You know Kyeong Hwa designs clothes, right? I think she made a few extra outfits for you.”
“…Yes, the clothes she made are not only pretty, but also very comfortable. I really like them.”

“Good? That’s nice.”
Kang Hyun patted her head and then walked over to the bed and sat down.
“Don’t mind me, go study. I’ll just catch a quick nap. I felt refreshed when I slept in your room last time.”
As Yun looked at him, Kang Hyun fully stretched out on the bed.
“Did you really sleep that well?”
“Yes, so let me repay the favor. And after you’re done studying, come over here and sleep with me.”
“Eh?”
Yun’s eyes widened.
“What’s with that look? Don’t you trust me?”
One of Kang Hyun’s eyebrows arched up.

“Yes. Understood.”
Yun would willingly give up her bed if it meant Kang Hyun could get even a bit more sleep. Come to think of it, his eyes weren’t bloodshot the day after he had slept in her bed.
“By the way, I saw an article saying that this drama will be released on the platform on October 15, it seems to have been brought forward?”
The filming site was virtually a disaster due to the OTT platform release date of ‘Ruthless Killer’ being brought forward. On top of that, everyone was exerting superhuman strength as filming and editing were almost happening concurrently.
“Yes.”
“So, can you rest a bit after that?”
“There are interviews waiting. I have to go to Japan and China for promotions.”
“I see. You won’t even have a moment to rest when it’s over.”
Yun’s eyelashes lowered heavily. She had thought he could rest a little after filming ended, but it seemed not to be the case.
“After a few weeks of that, I’ll have some time. I’ll play with you a lot then.”

Kang Hyun winked. Yun’s heart beat rapidly again.
“I never imagined Kang Hyun would do something like wink.”
Yun touched her heated cheeks as she spoke.
“I didn’t know either. You know I only do it for you, right?”
Kang Hyun winked again, causing Yun’s face to grow even redder.

Wei Jing Mo: “…”
