“Are we heading home now?”

After finishing dinner at a famous restaurant that required reservations months in advance, Hae Yeon smiled at Do Ha.

Though someone had interrupted them midway, Hae Yeon was thoroughly pleased with how the day had gone. From the art museum to dinner, Do Ha had prepared everything perfectly. His kindness and thoughtfulness made her regret that the day was already coming to an end.

Feeling cheerful yet slightly tired, she gazed out the window when she heard his voice.

“You didn’t seriously think this was the last stop, did you? There’s still one more thing left.”

Do Ha stroked Hae Yeon’s cheek with a teasing expression and gentle gesture. His words, as if reading her mind, left Hae Yeon flustered and slightly dazed.

“Huh?”

“You said you wanted to sleep out somewhere, right? Then let’s go.”

Only then did Hae Yeon remember the evening two months ago, when she’d eaten stir-fried octopus with Do Ha to celebrate her Dallicoffee interview.

– “I want to sleep with you.”

A bold statement blurted out when she’d been too drunk to control herself. That day, Do Ha had gently refused—but the next morning, though not perfectly, he’d granted her request after all.

– “Yeah. Even if we can’t go far, let’s at least go somewhere close, just the two of us.”

Unfortunately, she’d completely forgotten their promise amid the internal incident at Dallicoffee that followed her hiring. Yet Do Ha, the other party involved, had remembered and made preparations.

Stunned by this unexpected turn, Hae Yeon froze—until Do Ha mischievously smiled at her dazed expression, gently cupped her cheek, and kissed her lightly.

“Hae Yeon. Are you standing like this because you want another princess carry?”
