My Husband's Cinderella (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 77
The thin negligee rustled near her thighs. Though there was no reason to feel exposed, she self-consciously adjusted her shawl, suddenly aware of the surrounding gazes.
She walked slowly, nestled within the procession of maids and knights.
No one dared speak freely, so only the hollow sound of footsteps filled the air.
When they all halted simultaneously, the sole noise vanished. The knights and maids dispersed to either side, and Chloe stepped through the neatly parted gap.
The door, adorned with lavish golden embellishments, welcomed Chloe.
It was the Emperor’s bedroom.
Standing before the door, Chloe glanced back. The knights and maids stood perfectly still, watching her intently.
She took a deep, silent breath and clenched her palms firmly, as if steeling her resolve.
Just then, she was about to knock with her rounded fist.
“Just go right in.”
The head maid at the front of the line spoke.
Chloe looked down at her tightly clenched fist and gave an awkward nod.
The confidence she’d barely gathered after the reprimand vanished. Only after moistening her dry lips with her tongue did she find the courage to grasp the doorknob.
She applied slight pressure to the handle. Unaware and indifferent, it turned smoothly.
The red-and-yellow room she slipped into exuded a sensual, opulent atmosphere.

Male lead is reincarnated to save his wife
I’ve also read this one twice already. The female lead is kinda soft and gets embarrassed easily—not really my type, but the plot is definitely worth reading. Hurry up and read it, y’all!

Intro
When Shen Yuan encountered Su Jin again in his previous life, she had already become the Prime Minister of the current dynasty. As for him, the former top young master of the capital, he had long since fallen into the abyss, becoming a singer on a pleasure boat.
After a song ended, he was redeemed and sent to the Su Residence.
Su Jin respected and cherished him, gave him a roof over his head, and bestowed him with warmth. Shen Yuan fell deeper and deeper, but before he could express his feelings, Su Jin passed away.
Shen Yuan died to follow her in death, but instead, he returned to when he was fifteen years old.
At that time, he was not yet engaged, and Su Jin was just a poor scholar.
Shen Yuan gritted his teeth, casting aside all his pride, and thought of ways to coax and entice her every day.
The colder and more indifferent Su Jin was towards him, the more proactive Shen Yuan became.
He was not afraid of being mocked by the world, only wanting to marry his Wife-master early, to hold her hand and never let go for a lifetime.
[Note: This story will not specifically point out the male lead’s reincarnation time point; it’s all in the details. Whenever you feel that the male lead is acting strangely, he has most likely been reincarnated.]

Wow, she really has no clue what personal accountability is. Nor does she have any self-awareness.
Lol, what a ridiculously mysterious way of stating when the appointment time is. Although, I did get the impression the guy is a sorcerer or magician of some sort. Did he implant those thoughts into Helena’s mind during the trial?
It seems to me that Kalis was not as attached to Helena as I had previously thought. He behaved as if utterly devoted to her initially. Did he even really mourn her death? He tossed her and their unborn child aside quite cruelly. I was surprised he behaved that way towards their child and Helena considering all he sacrificed to keep Helena in his life and at the estate. Perhaps he did not consider what he lost as a sacrifice but as things that were stolen from him by Chloe and now, the emperor. Helena too did not comprehend personal accountability nor being responsible for one’s own actions. Those two shared quite a few undesirable traits. The most surprising one being how entitled they behaved considering their stations.
