My Husband's Cinderella (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 75
Their wedding banquet was the very next day, yet Coon was busy right up to the last moment.
The Sahir Empire, having gained great benefit from its exchanges with Kalis, had opened its eyes to trade. They had realized that commerce greatly aided the advancement of civilization.
They had taken an early step, focusing their efforts on intercontinental trade. Their first target became the Frihid Empire, which occupied the largest territory on the continent.
Meetings between the Frihid Emperor and the Sahir Emperor had continued for several days straight. Coon said exchanges would likely continue for several more days even after the wedding banquet.
Though Coon did his part, wedding preparations did not proceed exactly as planned. The rest fell to Chloe.
From the main palace where she stayed, to the church beside it where the banquet would be held, and even to the secondary palace where distant guests would lodge—Chloe’s strength was finally exhausted after shuttling about all day.
“How tiring…”
Strange. Though it wasn’t hot, a bead of sweat trickled down Chloe’s forehead. She even made a gesture inappropriate for the season. Winter, watching beside her, quietly joined in fanning herself with her hand.
Though it was daytime, the round sun high in the sky shone fiercely. Instinct screamed at her to quickly find shade, but she had her dignity to uphold. Chloe delicately placed her other hand on the table.
“…?”
The light, which had been flaunting its power, vanished in an instant. Thanks to the newly formed shade, her surroundings suddenly grew cool.
“Good day.”
It was Liam Sahir.
He stood solidly behind Chloe, unintentionally serving as her shade.
Chloe, who had been checking for presence behind her while turned away, jumped in surprise. It was rude behavior—not to mention how foolish she must have looked.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)
Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.
After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.
Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!
Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?
Short scene 1:
Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.
Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?
Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?
Short scene 2:
Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”
Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.
Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”
Wei Jing Mo: “…”
A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead

Wow, she really has no clue what personal accountability is. Nor does she have any self-awareness.
Lol, what a ridiculously mysterious way of stating when the appointment time is. Although, I did get the impression the guy is a sorcerer or magician of some sort. Did he implant those thoughts into Helena’s mind during the trial?
It seems to me that Kalis was not as attached to Helena as I had previously thought. He behaved as if utterly devoted to her initially. Did he even really mourn her death? He tossed her and their unborn child aside quite cruelly. I was surprised he behaved that way towards their child and Helena considering all he sacrificed to keep Helena in his life and at the estate. Perhaps he did not consider what he lost as a sacrifice but as things that were stolen from him by Chloe and now, the emperor. Helena too did not comprehend personal accountability nor being responsible for one’s own actions. Those two shared quite a few undesirable traits. The most surprising one being how entitled they behaved considering their stations.
