My Husband's Cinderella (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 62
Not a single word among the countless letters assaulting her ears was false.
Ballont, realizing he could no longer defend himself, kept silent. He merely fidgeted with his own knees using his aged, weathered hands.
In response, Chloe also remained silent.
Between the two of them, no sound arose except those inevitably made.
Until, by necessity, their gazes finally met.
“You refuse to apologize to the very end.”
Chloe murmured softly, her eyes fixed on those sea-blue eyes so similar to her own.
Though she had fully anticipated this situation, actually facing it now felt strangely new.
Her heart, which had barely managed to stay calm, gradually became engulfed in anger. Even the happy memories of her family—those she occasionally recalled for comfort—had ultimately faded into bitterness.
“I have just one question. For someone like me, who always obeyed your every word, is there any nobility left?”
The king remained alone in silence.
Then, very slowly and deliberately, he whispered,
“If you hadn’t dropped the bomb of divorce, it would have remained.”
It seemed even the deepest bonds forged by blood couldn’t bridge every difference in opinion.
The king still utterly failed to understand Chloe’s heart.

Male lead fell into her trap — and shattered when she walked away
This is also on my reread list!
This one is a slow burn, but when it burns, it burns hard.
Definitely worth a read, y’all!

The story follows a thousand-year-old seductive spirit who, on a bet, sets out to charm the male lead—a once-promising but unfortunate cultivator.
But just when she succeeds in making him fall for her, she heartlessly leaves, driving him to madness.
Determined to find her at all costs, he captures her, keeping her by his side no matter what, even if she hates him.
I love this kind of trope—I enjoy watching the male lead suffer in agony.
The ending drags a bit with unnecessary filler, but that’s fine.
As long as I enjoy the beginning, I’m good.

If only she had thrown the ring in front of Kalis and Helena.
This ‘storing food in a glass air tight bottle’ would only work for some items in certain environments. I am confused as to why this is considered a successful business venture.
Strange. I didn’t think Kalis would agree to a divorce so easily. Did he make another deal?
