While waiting for Astel’s aid, Lucas and Serena went around the entire village, meticulously recording even the smallest details. Fortunately, thanks to Cedric arriving swiftly on horseback that night, they were able to obtain the urgently needed medicine.

“I could only bring what I managed to load onto the horse in my haste.”

“Well done.”

Lucas, as usual, said little, but merely having Cedric here was reassuring enough.

“Andre!”

At his loud call, Andre, who had been tending to an old woman in a corner of the church, hurried over and quickly bowed his head. The boy still didn’t know their true identities as the Crown Prince and Crown Princess, but he was deeply moved by the Astel name and their unmistakably noble bearing.

“This is my attendant knight, Cedric. He’s come to help us aid this place.”

“I am truly honored.”

Cedric looked rather puzzled, having been summoned by a boy who clearly hadn’t even reached adulthood.

“For now, this boy is the acting head of Nas territory.”

Lucas spoke as if reading his thoughts. Though Andre’s eyes shone with intelligence, his thin frame and shabby attire made him look worse off than even the peasants of Astel.

“I’ll explain the full situation later. For now, give the urgent medicine and supplies to Andre.”

“Yes. Your… “

Cedric instinctively began to use his formal title, but Lucas shot him a sharp glance.

“My lord.”
