Latil, adorned in white ceremonial attire embellished with golden tassels, pursed her lips as she peered through the window down at the palace grounds below. The press had gathered in front of the palace walls and the main gates, almost like a military force ready for battle.

“Wow…”

She almost unconsciously started clapping her hands.

“Will it be difficult to get in?”

The investigation regarding the letter thief, the probe into the foreign powers that Prince Teulra was trying to draw in, the search for the Emperor’s assassin—despite these issues remaining unresolved, time passed swiftly and the day for the consorts to officially enter the palace arrived.

Concerned about the excessive public attention because of her “first male harem,” Latil decided not to hold a party to celebrate the consorts’ entrance to the palace.

Instead, she planned a swearingin ceremony and banquet exclusively for the relatives of the consorts, and purposely did not disclose the detailed schedule.

Still, as the day of the consorts’ official entrance came, reporters and onlookers flocked to the palace in droves.

Sonnaught responded with a somewhat sour attitude.

“The guests invited by the consorts will also have a hard time getting out.”

Latil turned her head quickly towards Sonnaught, her brow furrowing as his words sounded like he was hoping they would struggle.

“Why is that?”

“Just now, Knight Sonnaught….”

But just as she was about to ask a question, a sudden cheer erupted from outside. Latil stopped speaking and turned her head back towards the window.

A dazzlingly luxurious golden carriage caught her eye, hurtling towards the palace’s main gate.

Behind that stunning golden carriage, five white carriages followed in quick succession. The reporters were shouting something. Listening closely, she made out something about Anghes.

It seemed Sonnaught had also heard the noise, as he curtly commented.

“It seems they’re from the Anghes upper class.”

“Ah, Tasir.”

From her position at the window, Latil could no longer see the carriages once they passed through the main gate. They had moved at a fairly swift pace, but when the last carriage got caught up by the reporters and couldn’t get in, Latil whistled.

“Wow. I wonder where these people left their senses before they came here. They got caught.”

In the meantime, some of the reporters had actually clung to the windows of the white carriage, attempting to interview those inside.

“Should we send in more soldiers?”

Sonnaught asked as he watched the scene. Latil was about to agree, but she changed her mind and shook her head.

“I don’t think it’s necessary.”

The white carriage that had been caught by the reporters was being released by a group of black horses appearing.

“The second group of consorts has arrived.”

Murmuring to herself, Latil watched the horse group and let out an exclamation of admiration.

“Oh. Cool. It’s the Black Reaper’s Squad.”

The horse group that had made the reporters retreat on their own was in stark contrast to the previous, bright and colorful caravan. It was threatening and dark, like ‘black and white.’ It seemed like they were going to war, not entering as consorts.

On the huge black horse in the very front, there was a man draped in a black cloak, presumably the king of mercenaries, and behind him, similarly dressed men with covered faces followed.

“The lineup is sharp.”

Even the reporters who had been clinging to the running white carriage dared not approach the mercenary king leading the front. They just stood at a distance and watched.

The third carriage to enter was easily recognized as being from the Duke Atraxil’s house.

The next was the chancellor’s carriage, but the impression of the mercenaries was so strong that the Duke and chancellor’s carriages seemed somewhat overshadowed.

After all four groups had passed through the main gate, Latil moved away from the window. It was about time for her to head down to the grand banquet hall as well.

[This is the time separator]

“You should make your entrance last, Your Majesty.”

Following the steward’s advice, Latil waited in a small room near the grand banquet hall for almost 30 minutes before finally entering the banquet hall.

The moment Latil appeared through the small door leading directly to the grand banquet hall’s high seat, the noisy hall fell completely silent.

The guests were divided into five groups, clustering together with their own kind.

“‘The path definitely diverged here.'”

Not even letting their clothes brush against each other, the people standing there quickly took in Latil, who ascended a few steps briskly and stood on the stage at the topmost seat.

From that vantage point, the five men who had been waiting on the steps of the stage simultaneously looked up at Latil.

“‘Wow, isn’t it really awkward?'”

Those five were to officially become Latil’s men today, the first male consorts. And the guests they brought along were also staring intently at Latil, their eyes ablaze.

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most

One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.

This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:

1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.

It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.

(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)

2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.

The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.

3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.

Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).

Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.

Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.

4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).

5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!
