Latil was truly shocked to realize how old she had become.

“I am this old?”

Latil exclaimed once again. Of course, she knew she was getting old, but not to the point where she could kick an adult from one side of the street to the opposite wall with a single kick. But to kick someone like a squishy ball.

“This crazy woman?”

However, the drunkards were even more infuriated at Latil’s sincere surprise. They thought that Latil was mocking them.

“How dare you hit my friend?”

“Throw her just the same!”

With their numbers and the added effect of alcohol, the drunkards quickly forgot the unbelievable spectacle they had just witnessed.

As they clenched their fists and rushed at her, Latil rather thought this was a good thing.

‘I was in a foul mood anyway.’

It was just a bit surprising that the longhaired Carlein helped.

The strange man she met at the shabby house later tried to swing his fist, and the body’s owner almost got hit in the face, which really angered her.

After all, wasn’t it already complicated to come out to the streets at night because of some issues?

Latil smirked and pressed the paper cup she was holding against the face of the first one who rushed at her.

“Ah!”

The screaming drunkard staggered to the side, and Latil kicked a pile of boxes towards the head of the dangerous drunkard who was about to swing his knife.

When the pile of boxes hit the drunkard’s head and broke, Latil grabbed it and hit the side of another drunkard who was trying to ambush her from the side.

In no time, the drunkards, despite their numerical advantage, ended up in the same state as their first comrade who was sent flying.

“You guys are really close friends. You even want to fly like your friend.”

Seeing this, Latil clapped and scoffed, and the drunkards forgot their fear in their drunkenness and cursed while gritting their teeth.

Latil repeated clenching and unclenching her fists with the intention of slapping their mouths that were cursing.

But just then, the guards rushed over.

‘They must have received a report when the fight broke out.’

Latil clicked her tongue, but she didn’t hit the drunkards’ mouths.

As they stood blankly, the approaching guards quickly assessed the situation and asked.

“We received a report that a fight broke out.”

As soon as he finished speaking, the second drunkard who got hit by Latil staggered up leaning on the wall and pointed at Latil.

“That woman hit us!”

“We don’t even know who she is, she suddenly came and hit us!”

“All the people lying here, they were all injured because that woman hit them.”

“She should be imprisoned!”

They all talked well even while lying on the floor. And as the drunkards spoke well, the expression on the guards’ faces turned incredulous.

Eventually, one of the guards asked outright.

“So this woman alone…… one two three four five six…… how many are you? Anyway, she beat all of you? Are you joking?”

“It’s true!”

“Ask that person over there!”

The drunkards pointed at a sausage vendor, but the vendor glanced at Latil and smiled, showing the tongs in his hand.

“Sorry, I didn’t see because I was cooking this.”

Watching the situation, Latil also added with a regretful face.

“These guys were hitting each other, guard.”

Latil’s words were more credible, but the reporter was definitely one of the drunkards.

The guards eventually took Latil and the drunkards to the police station.

Unlike the other drunkards, Latil was questioned separately.

Even though the drunkards reported Latil, no matter how the guards looked at it, it didn’t seem like Latil could have beaten these wellbuilt guys by herself.

If they investigated in the same place, Latil might feel threatened by those drunkards and might not be able to tell the truth about the damage, so the guards thought about it and decided to question separately.

However, the guard who asked Latil for her name and address became frustrated in a different way than when dealing with the drunkards.

“Name, Latil. Residence, the Royal Palace?”

The guard, sitting opposite Latil at a large desk and writing a report, was taken aback when Latil chuckled in response.

“Stop joking. Your name.”

“My name is Latil. I live in the imperial palace. That’s correct.”

Although Latil repeatedly asserted this, the guard, believing that she was joking, became angry.

“Look, I don’t think you’re the culprit because our social statuses are too different, but that doesn’t mean you’re completely free from suspicion. This isn’t a situation to be joking around in.”

“I’m telling the truth.”

Even so, when Latil nonchalantly claimed her address was the imperial palace, the guard retorted sharply.

“You might get into real trouble if you lie about something like this. Understand?”

“I understand, but I am Latil, and I do live in the imperial palace.”

With a disapproving shake of his head, the guard gestured to a lowerranking guard.

“This young lady claims she lives in the imperial palace. Go there and ask if they know a woman named Latil.”

“You’re crazy.”
