La Til stood up from her seat upon hearing such an absurd report in the middle of her duties.

The servant who delivered the news pointed toward the half-open door. Behind it, a man could be seen pacing anxiously back and forth.

“Shall I go check on it?”

Sarnet asked cautiously, stepping forward precisely because he knew Tasir’s servant was a vampire.

La Til checked both her remaining paperwork and the clock before rising to her feet.

“No, I’ll go myself.”

Upon entering the harem, she found the atmosphere chaotic. La Til intended to go directly to the communal kitchen where the incident had occurred.

However, a servant loitering in the corridor approached and pointed toward Gesta’s room. Tree had apparently already been moved there.
