The nursemaid approached Ranamun, cradling the sleeping infant in her arms.

Ranamun, who had been standing stiffly behind the sofa, took a half-step backward.

Yet his facial features closely mirrored Ranamun’s own childhood appearance. Each time the baby’s eyelids fluttered open slightly, his dark eyes clearly revealed he took after La Til.
