I opened the door to the meeting room at the end of the hallway, marked with a sign reading ‘Disciplinary Committee.’

“Hello. I’m Yoon Yeo Jin.”

From a distance, I immediately spotted the nameplate with my name on it.

Next to it, Seo Rin, already seated, looked up and fixed her eyes on me.

Seo Rin kept glaring at me with an intense gaze until the moment I sat down.

“Everyone seems to be here. Let’s begin.”

The Head of Department glanced at me as I took my seat, adjusted his glasses, and flipped through the distributed documents.

I saw the executives seated in a straight line, centered around him.

“You both are aware that the recent scandal has severely damaged our company’s reputation.”

“…Yes.”

I had already steeled myself—knowing that some form of punishment was inevitable, even if the truth came out.

Still, I couldn’t help feeling nervous.

For just a brief moment, my eyes met the Head of Department’s.

He had already heard the full story from me last night—everything, including the plan for what would unfold from this point onward.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Seo Rin wearing a flat, expressionless smile.
