The reporters buzzed at Jae Ha’s blunt mention of the words.

However, Jae Ha did not provide precise answers to the incessant questions from the reporters.

I quietly watched Seo Rin spinning nearly sophistical words.

“Our public image might take a small hit, but nothing will change significantly. Our relationship remains the same. And there is no change in the fact that we will get married.”

I remembered what happened in the restaurant before.

So… Had all the nonsense rumors that were bound to be revealed someday been spun because of that?

For her marriage to Ji Han. To become a part of his family.

‘As you think, being by his side may not be paradise.’

In a very short time, the five years I spent with him flashed by.

I showed her my phone that was still vibrating.

Seo Rin’s aimless eyes landed on the screen of my mobile phone.

And her eyes slowly widened as she recognized the caller.

“Seo Rin, you know too, right? Who this person is.”

“Even though he’s not her fiancé anymore, he contacted me as soon as he returned home.”

Seo Rin couldn’t take her eyes off the word ‘Lady Oh’ written on the screen.

The phone that had been ringing for a while eventually stopped.

I checked the message that came in immediately after the call ended.

“It’s the person you’re thinking of. It’s Mr. Ji Han’s mother.”

I handed the phone back to Seo Rin.

And Seo Rin’s face twisted for a moment as she read down Lady Oh’s message.
