Secretary Choi firmly shook his head.

“Surely you don’t actually believe it’ll be resolved with just that, do you?”

Tae Hyun’s face turned an even deeper shade of pale.

“I’ll truly do absolutely anything—please, just spare my life.”

Desperation etched across his face, Tae Hyun clasped his hands together and pleaded fervently.

Recalling what Do Jun had said, Secretary Choi began speaking to Tae Hyun.

“First, issue an official correction statement immediately.”

“Yes, yes—I’ll do that right away.”

Right in front of Secretary Choi, Tae Hyun placed a phone call without delay.

“Uh, remember that konjac rice I mentioned a few days ago? Due to internal communication issues, we’ve decided not to launch it—please issue a corrected press release stating that.”

The person on the other end apparently asked what had happened, and the conversation continued a little longer.
