Si Rak clasped both hands together as if nothing had happened and bowed at a full 120 degrees.

“Deputy Jin said she would write it for me.”

Seeing her spit out a lie so calmly without even wetting her lips, Do Jun hardened his expression even colder, as if he found it absurd.

Under the freezing gaze that seemed like it could freeze everything in an instant, Si Rak looked back at Tae Yeon with composure.

“Deputy Jin, say something.”

Tae Yeon said nothing. She considered speaking up and saying she had agreed to do it, but she didn’t want to.

Even though she could clearly picture Si Rak pouncing on her even more fiercely than before the moment Do Jun disappeared.
