Tae Yeon’s eyes widened dramatically at Do Jun’s words of wanting to protect her.

“We should come more often.”
Do Jun took a sip of the warm jasmine tea and gave Tae Yeon a sidelong glance.
Then they brought up the topic of the day they first met at the wedding photo shoot.

Feeling obligated to respond to the compliment, Tae Yeon slowly raised her head.
The thick eyebrows, the deep eyes beneath them.
The firm nose, and the sharply cut jawline anyone would envy.

As she was scrutinizing Do Jun’s handsome face, a smile naturally formed on her face.
Do Jun asked in a cunning manner.
“Do you like it?”
“Excuse me?”
“You were observing my face as if you were going to bore a hole through it.”
Of course, she had been doing that, but admitting it was too embarrassing. She didn’t seem to be as candid as Do Jun.
Tae Yeon quickly lowered her gaze to the table and whispered quietly.
“Observing? I was just looking.”
Hastily, Tae Yeon took a sip of her hot tea. She was so nervous her eyelashes were trembling.
Unbeknownst to him, Do Jun was smiling as he looked at Tae Yeon.
“So, I’m curious about Ms. Jin Tae Yeon’s first impression of me.”
Tae Yeon asked hesitantly.
“Do you want an honest answer? Or would you prefer a sugarcoated one?”
“Hahaha.”
Even that question was so very Tae Yeonlike.
“I’d like to hear both.”
Tae Yeon opened her mouth with an awkward smile.
“When you weren’t smiling, you seemed so cold I couldn’t approach you.”
“I see.”
As Do Jun spoke, a subtle smile was on his face.
In contrast to the day they took the wedding photos, there was also a warm look in his eyes.
She couldn’t believe he was looking at her with those eyes.
“Then, what is your sugarcoated first impression of me?”
“Still, you were handsome.”

“Oh, I have the same thought.”
