Lv.99 Princess of Dark Flames (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 228

Luna no longer attacked Eun Ha.

The garden still bore clear traces of battle. Beside a flowerbed where bright yellow blooms bloomed sweetly, Eun Ha and Luna stood side by side, maintaining a distance that was neither too far nor particularly close.

“—So that’s how it happened.”

Eun Ha told Luna the story about the cat, Lucy—where they’d met, how they’d formed their contract, and exactly how they’d lived together, recounting every detail as thoroughly as possible.

Luna never once interrupted Eun Ha’s words, listening silently and attentively until the very end.

“Lucy probably turned into a cat because ‘that place’ was full of ferocious tiger-like monsters. She always loved imitating things, after all.”

She likely ended up as a cat because the transformation only half-succeeded.

A faint trace of laughter tinged Luna’s voice—but it didn’t sound joyful at all. Instead… it carried a distant sorrow and regret.

At that moment, Luna was no longer a Zodiac.
