Lakan hadn’t wished for his superior to lose his mind over this. Tears spilled onto the floor as he remained prostrate.

Casar, watching him with hollow eyes, muttered a curse under his breath and then asked in an icy tone—the same as always when he was angry.

“…Why aren’t you answering? I asked if Scathach dislikes it.”

“Don’t take it out on him, Casar.”

Instead of Lakan, who remained speechless, Attila interrupted from the doorway, arms crossed as he observed the scene. Even with his mind troubled, that filthy temper of his still flared up unexpectedly.
