On the way back from Galisa’s largest port, Idren gazed at a certain spot and said,

“I’ve also transferred ownership of that place to you.”

At his words, she turned her head to follow his gaze and realized that far in the distance stood the villa she had often visited in her previous life. The villa, with its stained-glass windows and silver doors, even had its own lake.

As she briefly recalled its opulent features, Idren spoke again.

“In this life, please invite me over sometime.”

He added, with a slightly sulky tone, “You only ever invited your friends there before,” sounding as though he’d been hurt by it.

But his statement contained a flaw.

First, she hadn’t merely been “playing” at the villa. Second, she hadn’t deliberately excluded Idren.

If he’d asked, Ophelia would have gladly invited her husband.

Of course, the people who usually visited the villa were mostly those she’d rather not have him meet—

either flawed in character, despite being entertaining, or wealthy yet lacking noble status—making them unsuitable for introduction to a husband with whom she wasn’t close.

However, in this life, she hadn’t yet befriended any of them, and it was already known that she had previously gotten to know Staret.

During the past few months of growing closer to Idren, Ophelia had realized he was far less particular than she’d assumed. Idren had tolerated even her most impolite behaviors without complaint.

Moreover, whoever she brought with her would treat Idren with utmost respect—he was, after all, the King of Aglante.

Having finished her thoughts, Ophelia simply nodded without arguing.
