“Hey, could you stop here for a moment?”

Seo Rin, who had come down to the management office, requested to see the CCTV footage from the building, citing that a stranger had left mail at her apartment.

“Ah, it seems to be this man. But he’s wearing a hat and a mask, so his face is completely unrecognizable.”

“Then, can we at least tell how this man got inside the building?”

“Yes. I checked, and he slipped in right behind this child.”

The security guard rewound the footage and showed the first frame where the man in the hat appeared.

“As you can see, he followed right in through the gap when the child opened the door. And once you’re past that point, taking the elevator isn’t an issue at all.”

Strictly speaking, it wasn’t a security breach—just a random incident. Nor could they blame the child.

“I’m truly sorry about this. We’ll be much more careful to prevent anything like this from happening again.”

In the end, Seo Rin returned to her apartment without any real findings. But as soon as she saw the photos on the table, her anger flared up again.

She scanned the photos once more with cold eyes.

There were five photos in total. The first showed Tae Joon embracing a woman—only her back visible, making it impossible to identify her clearly.

However, judging by the other four photos, it was evidently the same woman.

Though none were overtly intimate, one showed them sitting cozily together in a hotel café, chatting, while another captured them in the same space, pretending not to know each other—

as if deliberately hinting at a secret relationship.
