“I want our child… to grow up walking on solid ground.”

That earnest voice wouldn’t leave Seo Rin’s ears.

It was the moment she finally felt, with her whole body, the reality of their marriage—which had seemed unreal even after they’d filed their marriage registration.

The question slipped out of Seo Rin’s mouth along with a deep sigh.

Yet the mere word “child” left a far greater aftereffect than she could have imagined, because every word Tae Joon spoke came straight from his heart.

“Where are you? I’m moving your things in right now.”

—was the day Tae Joon was coming into her officetel.

The result of her nodding in agreement when he’d bluntly declared he’d be coming over immediately, with nothing left to delay.

“No, I’m at a hotel right now. Got a meeting this afternoon. Secretary Shin is having people move everything in for me. It’ll be done soon. I didn’t bring much with me when I came back to Korea.”

“Got it.”
