After seeing off the Grand Duke, I swiftly turned around.

“Tulla.”

Tulla, who was precisely two steps behind me, elegantly bowed her head.

“Yes, Princess.”

“Let’s host a tea party (티파티를 열자).”

It was abrupt to mention a tea party. Tulla must have been completely confused, yet instead of asking what I meant, she gracefully curtsied.

“As Your Highness wishes.”

Her attitude was commendable.

Pleased that Tulla was keeping up with her etiquette lessons, I recalled information about the banquets I had hosted in my previous life.

Now, how should I plan this party? Should I do what I do best, or focus on pleasing the attendees?

The answer was simple. Of course, I should do what I excel at.

However, moving to the new palace took precedence over preparing for the tea party. The party was to be held at Jasper Palace, after all.

“Oh, Princess, look at this! The pond is truly beautiful!”

Tulla, whom I had managed to calm down, was excitedly pointing out the pond, but I didn’t scold her. It was indeed worthy of admiration.

“Indeed, something the Grand Duke can be proud of (과연 대공이 자부할 만하네).”

Jasper Palace was indeed beautiful. I wondered if they built the palace out of wood instead of stone for this reason. Each column was intricately carved, there were ceiling paintings, and the floor was laid with colorful tiles.

While it felt more like a dollhouse than a place for people to live, it was undeniably beautiful.

Sitting amidst nature’s vibrant colors, looking at the palace was truly mesmerizing. I couldn’t use this setting for the upcoming tea party as it would be too distracting for the children, but maybe another time.

While Tulla explored the garden, I moved ahead to the bedroom, which was conveniently on the first floor. I wondered if someone had chosen my bedroom considering the length of my legs.

“Wow…”

Thankfully, the room was ordinary. Not the furniture, but the layout and such. At least they didn’t put a chandelier in the room.

However, the furniture seemed too sophisticated for a three-year-old. An oak bed was fine, but did a child really need an end table?

I couldn’t dress myself, so Tulla would likely be the one using the dressing room, but it was still ‘my’ dressing room. The dress room lacked handles at my height, and the full-length mirror was also too tall.

Whoever designed the palace didn’t seem to consider the actual user.

But aside from that, yes, the palace was impressively luxurious. Even I, accustomed to luxury in my past life, had to admire it.

“Ah, you’re here, Princess.”

After finishing her garden tour, Tulla entered the bedroom, her cheeks flushed. Her tone was much more composed. I reached out to her. We needed to take a full tour of the palace.

“Let’s check out the second floor (2층을 둘러보자꾸나).”

“Yes.”

Tulla easily understood my intention and gently lifted me up, a routine task whenever I needed to climb stairs or get onto a chair.

“Aren’t I heavy (무겁지 않니)?”

I asked, noting Tulla’s slender arms. Despite my inability to climb onto a chair unaided, Tulla wasn’t particularly large or muscular.

In my previous life as a warrior, I wasn’t well-versed in the strength of an average person, but I assumed I wasn’t light enough to be carried around this easily.
“Oh my. Were you concerned about that? Don’t worry, you’re light as a feather.”

Although it was a kind comment, it was irrelevant to my concern about the weight.

“But, now that I think about it… there won’t be many days left for me to carry you like this. You’ll grow up quickly.”

That was true.

I still couldn’t understand how she could carry me so effortlessly, but it wouldn’t be possible forever. I needed assistance to move around because of my small stature, but as my limbs grew longer, I wouldn’t need to be carried anymore.

“I suppose so (그렇겠구나).”

I felt a sense of loss, even though I only needed to be carried out of necessity. Looking back, I never had to be carried around in my past life.

Feeling sentimental, I instinctively hugged Tulla’s neck tighter. Whether she understood my complex emotions or not, Tulla gently patted my back with a soft laugh.

Having toured the palace while carried by Tulla, I realized that although it might not be ideal for a real child, it was a perfect place for me to live.

The fact that it was a space just for me was significant.

“The palace is really pretty and cozy.”

True to Tulla’s words, Jasper Palace was smaller than Emerald Palace. But considering that I had shared the Emerald Palace with four others and this one was just for me, the actual usable space was probably about the same.

Moreover, considering that palaces are typically built for one person, the utility here seemed better.

“Have you seen the ceiling paintings? The carvings on the pillars and the embroidery on the curtains, everything is so intricate and magnificent.”

Though I preferred simplicity and substance, it was better to have something aesthetically pleasing than something bland.
