Life After Divorce (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 70
In the afternoon, as usual after finishing breakfast, a letter arrived from Uncle.
He said he had learned of my divorce and inheritance through the news, and sent his heartfelt condolences and deep sympathy regarding my past marriage. He also mentioned that other relatives had heard the news and were sighing in dismay.
Since I had no children of my own after marriage, Uncle had always treated me like a daughter. Even when my father passed away, he patted my back and told me I could always rely on him.
That he would worry about me like this, despite my having cut off contact so coldly after marriage—it alone proved they were people of gentle hearts.
With a warmed heart, I wrote a reply to Uncle.
It was a formal request to meet with senior executives at the estate I would visit in two days.
In truth, the Bueil family’s business was the estate itself.
The livelihood of the estate’s residents depended more on mining than farming—most were miners. Since Leblon was traded at ten times the price of ordinary mana stones, the estate was more advanced in civilization and enjoyed a higher economic standard compared to neighboring estates.
Managing the estate and overseeing its business operations would not be an easy task at all. Entrusting full operational authority to Uncle, who possessed substantial executive experience, would be the most practical solution.
Though Uncle was a man of simple tastes with no greed, he had shared a close bond with my father and had jointly promoted charitable causes—so I was certain he’d readily accept my proposal to take charge.
I set aside the letter for Uncle and turned to read the correspondence from the senior executives who had been working hardest on estate management.
They had responded with enthusiastic cheers upon hearing of my recent divorce. They were either people who had recoiled at Devon’s arbitrary management style or rigid traditionalists deeply sensitive to legitimacy and hereditary customs.
I wrote them a letter as well.
It requested that they prepare a summary of the current business status, client list, and quarterly sales figures, as I would soon visit for a three-way meeting with Uncle.
Holding both letters, I went to Rail—to entrust them to him.

My Ex-Girlfriend Is The Regent In The Female-dominant World (Male lead transmigrates to the matriarchal world)
Two years ago, Gu Sui picked up a homeless woman in ancient costume from the street.
Apart from occasionally claiming to be a princess from a female-dominant country due to illness, her figure, appearance, intelligence, and martial arts skills were impeccable.
Naturally evolving from roommates to girlfriends, as time went on, Gu Sui found it increasingly difficult to tolerate her queen syndrome.
“Mu Jiulu, can you stop controlling me inside and out? Let’s break up.”
Gu Sui made a breakup call, and since then, he couldn’t find any trace of her.
A year later, Gu Sui, who was planning to move, woke up the next day and found himself in a different place.
“Young Master, today is the day you choose your Wife-master through martial arts competition at Jade Dew Pavilion. Please get up quickly.”
Gu Sui: Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
As the only son of a general’s mansion in a female-dominant dynasty, the young empress personally issued a decree allowing Gu Sui to select his Wife-master through martial arts competition. Whoever could defeat him could marry him.
Gu Sui: “……”
He didn’t inherit the original owner’s martial prowess, so anyone could defeat him! And what the hell is a Wife-master?
Forced to come to Jade Dew Pavilion, the densely packed women below made Gu Sui’s agoraphobia act up, and his face was full of resistance.
Until he saw the Regent sitting on the second floor, with a smile on the corner of her lips, her eyes wicked and nonchalant.
Hmm… she looked a little familiar.
It turned out that the Regent also found him a little familiar.
Mu Jiulu fiddled with her bone clasp, her deep gaze locked on the man who was out of place in this world.
“Finally, I found you.”
