This is the Grand Temple of the Order.

To fulfill my promise made during a recent private audience with the Emperor, I underwent strict procedures at the entrance before heading to the memorial hall.

Crowds had flocked here during the days of the memorial service, but now it was quiet.

Following the rites of commemoration, I met the eyes of each portrait of the fallen warriors one by one and laid down flowers. Among them was even a relatively young boy.

I did not feel any tearful sorrow or heart-wrenching grief.

White doves perched upon the statue mingled with yellow butterflies fluttering through the air, forming a sacred scene. The fresh scent of grass blended with the smell of water, as if ready to wash away all impurities.
