Interest Compounds on Revenge (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 98
Lea nearly had a heart attack upon hearing from Terren that Tuajo had been arrested.
She hadn’t even begun the prologue of her revenge yet, but Terren had already started it himself. Of course, he hadn’t done it knowingly.
In any case, it was certainly good news.
‘One of the trio of enemies has been eliminated. But…’
There was still truth she needed to confirm from Tuajo.
After all, among the three, Tuajo had conspired most closely with Allen.
By now, Allen would surely be exerting every effort to erase all traces of Tuajo from her.
‘Normally, you cut off the monster’s head last.’
She was still far too weak to bring Allen down. Moreover, she wouldn’t let him meet his ruin by stumbling over his own feet like Tuajo had.
‘You must crumble slowly, suffering excruciatingly.’
As soon as Lea entered the palace, she received a report from Pauline regarding the process of crafting the Crown Prince and his consort’s ceremonial attire.
Yet even amidst this, her mind was filled solely with the thought of meeting Tuajo.
‘Does that fool really believe Allen will save him? He’s not that naive a man.’
Now that the very thing she’d wished for had actually happened, she felt utterly lost.
She’d prepared countless hypotheses, plans, and even detailed instructions for action—but now she was confused about where to begin.

She turned around upon hearing the noise.
He looked up at her, his eyebrows drooping: “My hand… has no strength.”
“Shall I… feed you?” she asked tentatively.
He opened his mouth cheerfully: “Ah—”
Thinking she was drowning, he jumped in without hesitation to save her, but nearly drowned himself. In the end, it was she who swam over to rescue him, giving him air underwater.
After emerging from the water, his ear tips turned red. He lightly brushed his cheek, tucking his sideburns behind his ear, revealing delicate, pink-tinged ear tips. He lowered his gaze, too embarrassed to look at her.
Xin Jiao Zhou: He’s truly beautiful, kind-hearted, and adorable.

I don’t understand, if she is trying to save the twins, why is she putting a gun to her head? She needs to be alive for the twins to survive.
This is sounding less like a punishment and more like a privilege.
Sometimes this novel’s inability to reflect anything close to realism frustrates me. Let’s reward arson and attempted murder! (Can’t help but point out the lack of creativity with Mr. Baker’s name.)
