Interest Compounds on Revenge (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 89
Lea was at a loss for how to respond to Terren.
‘Should I say I need to succeed to reclaim the stolen Hamilton Company, and also to take revenge on Allen?’
To say that, she’d first have to reveal her true identity. But would Terren believe her? Even if he did, how would he handle the shock?
‘What should I do? I can’t stop now.’
“Why are you suddenly asking that?”
She questioned Terren back. She needed to understand his intentions to give an appropriate answer.
“Hmm, it’s just that you’re too dedicated for it to be a hobby.”
“It’s not a hobby.”
The words slipped out before she could think.
“Are you planning to start a trading company or something?”
Terren asked with a bewildered expression.
“Is that not allowed?”
When Lea responded seriously, the amusement on Terren’s face gradually faded.
Why was Lea so desperate about business? His doubts began there, tangled with petty worries about what would happen if she didn’t rely on him.
Honestly, Terren wanted to be an absolute presence in her life.

Male lead is a Love-Obsessed Merman
When he discovers she has gone, he risks everything to pursue her on land, enduring agonizing pain to transform his tail into human legs…

One-line summary: Male lead chases female lead. The male lead’s love is a bit sick, an invincible love brain.
Synopsis
During a voyage at sea, Jiang Yang accidentally captures a merman.
Servant: I heard that mermen are fierce and brutal.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman obediently rubbing her palm like a puppy: “You call this fierce and brutal?”
Servant: I heard that mermen have no human nature.
Jiang Yang looks at the merman with wet puppy eyes, obsessively calling her ‘A Yang’ like a childish infant: “You call this having no human nature?”
With great difficulty, she releases the merman back into the sea and returns to shore.
Who would have thought that in less than half a month, the merman, who should have been freely wandering in the South China Sea, would shed his scales, endure the pain of losing his tail, transform into human legs, and come ashore to find her?
He kneels at her feet, rubbing her palm, with merman tears rolling down: “A Yang, don’t abandon me.”

I don’t understand, if she is trying to save the twins, why is she putting a gun to her head? She needs to be alive for the twins to survive.
This is sounding less like a punishment and more like a privilege.
Sometimes this novel’s inability to reflect anything close to realism frustrates me. Let’s reward arson and attempted murder! (Can’t help but point out the lack of creativity with Mr. Baker’s name.)
