Interest Compounds on Revenge (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 27
A pitiful beast endlessly craving affection. He seemed as wretched as a cat licking its wounded leg and crying.
‘If I were my old self, I could have loved you freely.’
Now, it wasn’t so easy to love just because she wanted to. Her soul had been shredded by Allen, left utterly broken. And yet, who was she to claim she could love anyone?
To be perfectly honest, she was afraid of getting hurt again. She’d already paid too steep a price.
‘Instead of love, I’ll comfort you.’
Lea barely managed to steady her wavering heart. She waited for Terren’s ragged breathing to calm. If he could regain his composure, she’d comfort him as much as he needed.
After about thirty minutes passed, Terren no longer seemed distressed.
“Terren, let’s have dinner together. It’s your first day living with Chainer, after all.”
“Alright.”
Lea helped Terren rise from his seat and gently let go of his hand. But his large hand grasped her wrist.
“Grace… would you give me a kiss?”
“!?”
Terren spoke shyly, like an adolescent boy.
For a fleeting moment, Lea wrestled with countless conflicting thoughts. But she didn’t want to give him a kiss out of pity. Instead, she kissed the back of his hand.
“Let’s go.”

Male lead is reincarnated to save his wife
I’ve also read this one twice already. The female lead is kinda soft and gets embarrassed easily—not really my type, but the plot is definitely worth reading. Hurry up and read it, y’all!

Intro
When Shen Yuan encountered Su Jin again in his previous life, she had already become the Prime Minister of the current dynasty. As for him, the former top young master of the capital, he had long since fallen into the abyss, becoming a singer on a pleasure boat.
After a song ended, he was redeemed and sent to the Su Residence.
Su Jin respected and cherished him, gave him a roof over his head, and bestowed him with warmth. Shen Yuan fell deeper and deeper, but before he could express his feelings, Su Jin passed away.
Shen Yuan died to follow her in death, but instead, he returned to when he was fifteen years old.
At that time, he was not yet engaged, and Su Jin was just a poor scholar.
Shen Yuan gritted his teeth, casting aside all his pride, and thought of ways to coax and entice her every day.
The colder and more indifferent Su Jin was towards him, the more proactive Shen Yuan became.
He was not afraid of being mocked by the world, only wanting to marry his Wife-master early, to hold her hand and never let go for a lifetime.
[Note: This story will not specifically point out the male lead’s reincarnation time point; it’s all in the details. Whenever you feel that the male lead is acting strangely, he has most likely been reincarnated.]

I don’t understand, if she is trying to save the twins, why is she putting a gun to her head? She needs to be alive for the twins to survive.
This is sounding less like a punishment and more like a privilege.
Sometimes this novel’s inability to reflect anything close to realism frustrates me. Let’s reward arson and attempted murder! (Can’t help but point out the lack of creativity with Mr. Baker’s name.)
