Interest Compounds on Revenge (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 152
The commotion caused by Allen’s outburst kept the hall in turmoil for a very long time.
“How can it be acceptable to let someone like that live?”
“He should be executed immediately. Just think of all the victims and how many have died.”
“Good heavens, to spare the life of the man who caused his own fiancée’s death—it’s simply unthinkable.”
Unlike the crowd’s furious reactions, Lea considered the punishment handed down to Allen justified.
She had feared he might be swiftly condemned to death, so she was relieved that his sentence involved prolonged accountability for his crimes.
“Even if you stay alive, you’re as good as dead. And even if you try to die, nothing will be within your control. All around you will be the sea—that’s the very threshold of hell. I hope you suffer excruciatingly for fifty years before you finally die, Allen.”
Lea closed her eyes, lost in thought.
She vividly recalled every moment—from her childhood meeting with Allen, through love and marriage, to the hellish despair in which she had writhed.
Yet even now, having finally taken her revenge, she couldn’t fully understand why she didn’t feel perfectly satisfied. Perhaps her soul bore so many wounds that healing wouldn’t come easily.
“I’ve finally brought Allen MacDowell to justice.”
Lea looked at Terren with an expression full of emotion.
Without him, she could never have accomplished this. She hadn’t even imagined she’d exact her revenge so swiftly.
She longed to kiss his hand repeatedly to express her gratitude, but instead, Lea firmly grasped Terren’s hand and gazed intently into his eyes.
“There’s no one left who will torment Grace.”

Male lead is reincarnated to save his wife
I’ve also read this one twice already. The female lead is kinda soft and gets embarrassed easily—not really my type, but the plot is definitely worth reading. Hurry up and read it, y’all!

Intro
When Shen Yuan encountered Su Jin again in his previous life, she had already become the Prime Minister of the current dynasty. As for him, the former top young master of the capital, he had long since fallen into the abyss, becoming a singer on a pleasure boat.
After a song ended, he was redeemed and sent to the Su Residence.
Su Jin respected and cherished him, gave him a roof over his head, and bestowed him with warmth. Shen Yuan fell deeper and deeper, but before he could express his feelings, Su Jin passed away.
Shen Yuan died to follow her in death, but instead, he returned to when he was fifteen years old.
At that time, he was not yet engaged, and Su Jin was just a poor scholar.
Shen Yuan gritted his teeth, casting aside all his pride, and thought of ways to coax and entice her every day.
The colder and more indifferent Su Jin was towards him, the more proactive Shen Yuan became.
He was not afraid of being mocked by the world, only wanting to marry his Wife-master early, to hold her hand and never let go for a lifetime.
[Note: This story will not specifically point out the male lead’s reincarnation time point; it’s all in the details. Whenever you feel that the male lead is acting strangely, he has most likely been reincarnated.]

I don’t understand, if she is trying to save the twins, why is she putting a gun to her head? She needs to be alive for the twins to survive.
This is sounding less like a punishment and more like a privilege.
Sometimes this novel’s inability to reflect anything close to realism frustrates me. Let’s reward arson and attempted murder! (Can’t help but point out the lack of creativity with Mr. Baker’s name.)
