In This Life, I'll Assist You (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 96
After an unexpected brief meeting in the dining hall, I merely pretended to eat something before returning to my room.
I didn’t step outside my room even once until nightfall.
I was afraid of encountering the Grand Duke. I didn’t have the courage to face him.
I wasn’t even hungry.
Once in the middle, Arcadia came to invite me to eat, but I declined, saying I wanted to rest.
My small room was filled with my past. I kept drifting and sinking within it.
My mind and heart were utterly empty—I couldn’t feel anything at all.
I just kept repeating to myself.
Your Grace Grand Duke, if you remember your past life, my range of movement will widen. So please, don’t be afraid.
This life will be different from the last. I’ll make sure of it.
How long had I been like that?
Suddenly, in the darkness where time had vanished, I thought.
‘How did the Grand Duke reincarnate? By what power…?’
That day, before my very eyes, the Grand Duke closed his eyes without ever finding freedom, bound by executioner’s chains.
Just recalling that image made my heart ache.

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”

It’s amazing how Lahert’s plan only makes sense because of his villainous role; it’s a pretty obvious plan.
That’s exactly the point, how could he know where the BODY was when the territory where the BODY was located wasn’t his??
The butler responding just like Google’s AI, LOL, how cute.
