I cut off Kahilrn’s teasing remark coldly. Normally, I’d be utterly annoyed by such banter, but right now it brought immense relief. Perhaps it had felt that way ever since I heard Kahilrn’s voice outside Floria’s door.
“Won’t you finally tell me now?”
“Tell you what?”
