Cinderella, or rather Floria, with her golden hair shining as if absorbing all the light in the world, seemed like an angel descending from heaven. Standing under the brilliant sunlight, she was as beautiful and holy as one could imagine.

Instead of her previously dry hair and rough skin, she now gleamed, fully blossomed like her name, exuding grace that made it hard to believe she was ever called a dust-covered girl.

‘She really looks as pretty as a doll.’

Certainly, as the main character, she seemed to have an extraordinary beauty buff. Anyone would be captivated by her looks. A lovely girl to whom anyone would willingly offer anything she desires. This was the admiration for Floria written in the original work.

Even if I had been incarnated as just a maid, I would have purely admired her.

Just as I was internally lamenting why I had to incarnate as her step-sister who tormented her, Floria ran towards me with graceful movements.

“Sister!”

‘Huh?’

I was suddenly embraced by Floria, blinking in surprise. This was an unexpected turn of events. Not knowing how to react, I looked over Floria’s shoulder and saw a familiar face.

The man frowning displeasedly at me was Prince Eric the Hilik, who, in the moment of my incarnation, was placing the glass shoe on Floria’s foot.

‘Aha.’

Not just the prince, but also the courtiers watching us from all directions. Then I understood Floria’s warm welcome.

She wanted to show that she forgave and embraced the sister who had tormented her. Whether or not her intent was successful, the looks of admiration in the eyes of the servants and maids towards Floria were evident.

Hoping that they would not drop their masks even after everyone left, I gently patted her back.

Then Floria’s shoulders stiffened. Hesitant whether this was the right response, I saw someone who seemed straight out of the original work’s description at the edge of my vision.

‘Shanna Sharasti.’

With her mysterious blue hair and golden eyes, she was the fairy and most important ally who helped Floria in the original story.

And beside her, two white doves sitting quietly in a cage. Making unintended eye contact with one of them, I quickly averted my gaze.

“I missed you, sister. Was the journey here too difficult?”

Floria stepped back and scrutinized me. Her expression was full of joy, with no trace of resentment or aversion towards me.

‘Impressive.’

Seeing her acting skills in person, I was internally amazed. Floria then gently held my hand. Unlike my hands roughened by days of travel in the carriage, hers were soft, white, and even fragrant with a floral scent.

“You look pale. Are you unwell?”

“No, I’m fine…….”

“Did I upset you by forcing you to come here against your will?”

That made me look bad. As expected, the gazes from around us intensified.

“I’m sorry, sister. The palace felt so unfamiliar and lonely, I thought being with family would be nice, but maybe I was just thinking about myself.”

Floria looked at me, tears dropping. Her pitiful expression was so convincing that I almost believed it myself. Everyone looked at Floria with pity, then turned their eyes to me.

‘What are you waiting for? Comfort her!’ their condemning glares seemed to say. I internally let out a hollow laugh.

“I’m sorry.”

Floria tightly grasped my hand, preventing me from actively defending myself, and let her eyebrows droop.

‘Hey, there’s a scary child here.’

I wanted to shout , but the hand holding mine was too painful. How could someone so delicate have such strength?
Floria’s multitasking of squeezing my hand like wringing out laundry while shedding tears with her gentle and fragile appearance was astonishing. Sensing that she might strangle my neck next if I said a word, I kept my mouth shut.

“Can’t you stay for just a few days? Please, sister, okay?”

In a situation where I should have been kneeling and begging for forgiveness in front of Floria, I was instead standing upright, receiving her pleas. Needless to say, the gazes directed at me grew even more hostile. Prince Eric, unable to watch any longer, approached and tenderly embraced Floria’s shoulder.

“Don’t cry, my lady. It pains me to see you like this.”

Prince Eric glared at me as Floria collapsed into his embrace.

“It’s outrageous. I’ve heard much about the atrocities of the Violet Earldom. I wanted to banish you from the kingdom, but refrained because of the lady’s request. Yet here you are, displaying such arrogance. Kneel and beg for forgiveness immediately!”

As soon as the prince finished speaking, I bent my knees, which had been ready to kneel since before. Actually, since boarding the carriage. It was only the unexpected welcome by Floria that delayed my action.

“I apologize, Your Highness, Prince Eric.”

Though I thought Cinderella wouldn’t have called me to the castle if she planned to kill me, I might get beheaded right here by the prince.

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband

This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.

They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.

In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.

When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.

She makes his life a living hell.

And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.

Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!

Intro

Dong Xia lost her memory.

Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”

Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.

…

The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.

She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.

Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.

No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!

Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂

*

Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.

The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.

In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.

The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.

And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.

Notes:

1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.

2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
