An expansive continent, a timeless human history.
If one were to mention who receives the highest love and respect, the answer is simple.
The youngest daughter of Artina. The Imperial Princess who received the empire’s love. An unprecedented spirit user. A peerless strategist.
Evelia Artina.
Having not only the empire’s rulers but also high demons and spirits under her feet, it’s not an exaggeration to say that every path she’s walked in life was a flower path, and every footprint she left is considered an achievement.
Meanwhile, in Evelia’s autobiography, there’s a line written, ‘I just wanted a small and precious love.’
With the complaint that the attachment of the dukes, knights, spirits, and others who cherished her was so excessive that even trying to have a romance was lifethreatening.
Yet she has been rumored to have a deep relationship with the being who has been by her side for a long time, so perhaps she achieved the goal she wanted the most.

“Ah…!”
In a dark room where nothing can be seen without relying on the dim moonlight, a woman with blue hair in a thin slip took a deep breath and got up.
“El…? It’s okay. It’s okay.”
The man who immediately opened his eyes at the woman’s movement held the woman and comforted her, and then took the water from the table and handed it to his wife. The golden hair that seemed painted with the sun did not dare let the darkness descend.
“… Hugo, I had… a dream.”
“Who dared to torment you in your dream. I’ll kill.”
Elysia, who had been listening quietly, covered her husband’s mouth with both hands.
“Don’t say the forbidden word! Our baby hears everything!”
After Elysia had a child, all the harsh words in the world were banned from Hugo. ‘Kill’ was no exception.
The only Duke in the Arcadia Empire, a Swordmaster who is acclaimed as untouchable even on the battlefield, even if you search all over the continent.

“I made a mistake. I’m sorry.”
No matter what, he was just a husband who obediently listened to his wife.
Elysia, who was enjoying her husband’s embrace, chewed on her dream again and said quietly.
“I think I had a pregnancy dream.”
As Elysia whispered to Hugo, leaning on him, Hugo, who had been leaning languidly on the bed head, suddenly sat up.
“What kind of dream was it?”
The gender of the baby in the womb did not matter at all to Elysia, but Hugo, who was always serene in everything, exceptionally, very strongly, wanted a daughter.
Not long ago, he visited a countess with whom he had a close relationship to handle some business and saw a young child who had just turned three years old. The child, who looked just like a miniature version of the countess, made him envious.
Hugo, who loves his wife, felt regretful that both his eldest son and younger son resemble Hugo more than Elysia.
After seeing a young child who looked exactly like his mother, he thought how nice it would be to have a daughter who carried the traces of his muchloved wife.

That was after. Hugo started to obsess over his daughter, even murmuring pregnancy dreams that he often had before his daughter was born.
He even named his future daughter after many days and nights of contemplation.
‘Evelia’, which means ‘morning star’ in the ancient language.
When his wife asked why the name meant star, not sun, Hugo answered.
‘The sun has too much duty. I wanted our daughter to enjoy her status but also be free.’
Since the answer was satisfactory, the name of their daughter, who had not yet been born, had been Evelia for a long time.
Elysia, who was wondering how much he wanted a daughter to do this, laughed quietly, and Hugo, who held Elysia in his arms again, asked insistently.
“Hmm? My lady, a peach? A lotus flower? A lily?”
“Sorry, but it’s none of those. It was a place, where water and fire harmonize, and wind and earth touch. Someone entrusted a large piece of light to me.”
Seeing her husband’s expression as if he couldn’t guess at all, Elysia added a soft explanation with a smile.

“I’m not sure, but it seemed very similar to the appearance of the spirit world passed down in ancient books. Perhaps our child who will be born may be a child who receives the love of the spirits.”
“Did the light look like a girl’s figure… or did it look like a peach…”
“Ahem.”
“But we already have two sons.”
“Hush.”
“…Alright, gender isn’t important.”
The Arcadia Empire was the undisputed loser of the Lenoa continent.
A continent where conflicts with demons were unceasing.
The presence of spirit mages held by the Empire, by effectively opposing the demons, had long ago elevated the Arcadian kingdom to the status of Empire.
However, their numbers rapidly dwindled, currently, only about half a dozen courtexclusive spirit mages who had contracted with intermediate spirits or higher, and a few employed at the academy, remained.

When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
