As soon as they returned from their honeymoon, the two of them immediately took their son Joo Won and went with Ok Hee to visit her late father’s grave.

It was because Ok Hee had insisted they needed the wedding as an excuse to properly visit her father’s grave.

Along the roadside, the long row of Song Hyeon Electronics factories came into view.

After driving a bit further, they reached a small town, and right at the entrance stood a two-story house with a wide yard—Ok Hee’s childhood home.

The place where she’d grown up. Stepping out of the car, Ok Hee opened the gate and entered, unable to speak for a while.

She simply stood there, covering her mouth with her hand, gazing again and again.

Then, she carefully took a single step forward.

She walked across the spacious yard, stepped up onto the wooden veranda, opened the door, and went inside.

After a long while, Ok Hee emerged from the house, her eyes glistening with tears.

“How come nothing’s changed at all?”

Murmuring to herself, she walked back into the yard and headed toward the garden behind the house. Watching her, Tae Hee let out a sigh of relief.
